Oh gosh, what a pleasant suprise and change of style! I just arrived at my office, gonna work on a side project and I'm putting you on my other monitor... this is gonna be a sweet, sweet Saturday. I just wish I had the chance to join a livestream, but it's sorta impossible being in Central European Summer Time. Not complaining though; having this on yt is already UHmazing enough :D You go Matt! I'm immensely impressed with you managing to find the time to do a side project between regular work AND other important things in your life like family. I struggle with that (srsly, I don't have time for playing games or watching tv, I steal from my sleeping hours so there's not much more that I can 'sacrifice') and I don't even have kids! how the hell do YOU do that? :O

Ha, thanks! Honestly, I don't really play games, and I only really watch tv or listen to books while I paint. I also schedule my art time. It's not much, but if you let the bathtub drip it'll be full before you know it. It's just about doing a little bit whenever you can manage.

Awesome progression--it was fun to watch you do a different style for Tellurion. :) And also a fun conversation to listen to--I would have loved to have been a part of it. Looking forward to more live streams in the future!

I'm amazed by the story and your technique! May I ask something? At 1:21:20 you transform the colors in the back to a gradient ramp very quickly. How did you do that? For anatomy, did you do Proko's course? You inspire a lot of artists to keep progressing, I'm sure of this!

Thanks! That was a "gaussian blur", and yes, I took the Proko anatomy course.

Intriguing talk about Art and meaning here. Ive personally had much more investment in the development of the Tellurion story than most new movie and game titles, probably for this reason. Its interesting how the absence of dialogue emphasises the importance of body language, and scenery to communicate the various plot elements :) I like this. It also adds a sense of mystery.... I figure as a "storyist", you're a fan of Carl Jung and Jospeh Campbell? ( Hero with a thousand faces )
