... you get the idea: I wanted to make a character dissolve into particles while he runs in slow motion to his goal.
I use a Mocap-character from the Content Browser, consult the Time Editor to slow him down = extend the animation length, let the mesh geometry emit nParticles. Finally I keyframe the transparency of the character's shader, so he becomes invisible while he runs. Only the particles remain.
The tutorial is pretty simple and produces a nice effect already with the default settings.
