Babu Mbongeni Ngema is one special soul. I remember 13 years ago we went on a school trip to Johannesburg Mamelodi where we got a chance to watch him and his team rehearsing. I remember having a feeling similar to the one he speaks about in the interview, where you think I wanna be like that, I asked to sing for them. He was so impressed and gave me some money. As an 11 year old that was such a proud moment. Long live Madlokovu.

Stories like these inspire me a lot at the same time invoke memories that one would rather forget about. Mama WInnie Nomzamo Madikezela Mandela's name keeps coming up from every person who was part of the strugglle then. Petty she did not get the recognition she deserved when she was still alive. How I wished she was at least the DP or Speaker of the parliament. May she continue rest in eternal peace. I have no doubt she is in Heaven where she belongs. Her Creator healing her wounds.

Baba Ngema it is nice seeing you. In Bulawayo in Zim we grew up listening to SA music not just the Soul Brothers. We also grew up on American music, I know you said it as a compliment but the truth is that we grew up listening to SA music more than our own music. We were colonised by SA and America musically.

Mam Albertina Sisulu was nothing short of a genius, not only was she a nurse, she was an intellectual and a revolutionary. Leleti's portrayal of Mandela is symbolic of the role that women played in the struggle, Come to think of it, it serves as a reminder that the wrong Mandela became President...yes, I said what I said. Fight me!!
