I'd put cheese on the patty while it was cooking so it melts around the burger but that's just me.

ok, nice but.. 1st - You don´t need to actually make the burger out of real meat, just use those shitty frozen burgers you buy in any supermarket for about 0.3 bucks (the flavour is not in the meat but in the other ingredients) 2nd - "McDonalds Baby Onions" must be prepared before, just chop the onions and leave them inside the refrigerator resting in water for about 20 minutes. 3rd - Ketchup, mustard, onions and pickles go on the top (at least in southamerica) and K and M taste better if they are mixed, (just a tip) 4rd - and most important, after finishing the burgers you have to roll them in waxed paper and put them on microwave for about 20 sec each (emulates the hot stand where MCD puts the burgers and melts the cheese) 5 - After nail in it a couple of times, go and make your own!! combine deferent things like egg, garlic, tabasco (well MCD is already using it, but I did it firts :P in 2005) ,use some BK things like cryspy onions and make some hybrid fast food, try it, it tastes awesome. Hope this helps Bye

It certainly is, and it's a delicacy in many European and Asian countries. The problem is that the horsemeat that was falsified as beef was not meant for human consumption and had received immunizations and other injections that would make the meat unsafe for consumption by some individuals.

@99strenghty double quarter pounder... a quarter pounder is 25% or 1/4 of a pound if you double that it's 2/4 and when you simplify it, it's 1/2 so it's not a double quarter. But a Half Pounder

I work at mcdonalds currently, our meat is more like a beef paste that is formed into patties and then frozen then we cook them on the grill which is just a giant metal hotplate with one that comes in from the top then they go into a plastic tray which goes into a heating cabinet which finishes cooking them. they stay there til we say eww toss that

You made it upside down! Also the patties aren't fried in oil, they're cooked on a two plate grill (no idea what they're actually called). I imagine the closest you could get is by using a George Foreman or something similar.

Little tip: bake meat one side - flip it over bake other side - flip it over again put the cheese on top of the burger you just flipped (so its still hot) put the burger with cheese on top on the other slice of cheese In this case the cheese will melt much quicker, rather than eating a warm burger between two cold slices of cheese.
