I came back from spending 4 days with my friends and my wife asked me how their families were and I just stood there realizing it had never come up.

So true. I've had that conversation in real life. She looked at me like I was crazy, but why in the world would you ruin a round of golf by bringing up a recent tragedy? We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves joking about nothing in the sunshine.

I love Brian Regan. I always regret not being the first one to stand up at his show at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins CO. He brought my dad and I down from the upper decks and put us right in the middle of the front row and then absolutely killed it. I was laughing so freakin hard, but when the show was over I didn't have the courage to stand up and so nobody did because that chain reaction never got started but it definitely would have cause he so deserved it that night and it was such a buzzkill. I've never seen anybody crush that hard and then not get a standing ovation so Brian, if ur out there, u 100% deserved it that night and I failed u.

@@specie44 I'm guessing the fact that you think only you, by yourself not standing up is the sole reason there wasnt a standing ovation from an entire crowd at a comedy show.. Kinda reminds me of slow clap guy fron Not Another Teen Movie :)

This came to mind when golfing the other day. Hole 12, waiting to tee off, I suddenly realized my friends and I stood the whole time in utter silence once someone finally said "yea we're good now." It was a great round.
