@@brucekeys4910 Even boys, just by virtue of being boys are more likely to engage in physical activities and form stronger muscle groups to facilitate sports/combat that women just aren't likely or often able to build. The drive to compete and win in males is *only* subdued by the male instinct to protect females. In nature it is *why* the males are physically stronger to begin with, to protect the females and babies. We need to stop playing these games and pretending we are all the same. It is dangerous to delude women in to thinking they can wander down an alley and anything they encounter they can deal with. Yet we will happily lie to protect women's feelings and then in the real world, women blame the men for the actions of a few men, either we didn't protect them or men are bad. Like shit, if you're equal to a man, you need to deal with business like a man. Ain't nobody coming to protect a man.

The 4x400 mixed relay thing happens all the time. Nigeria did it, and Poland tried it to where their anchor leg was a woman who is, admittedly, one of the best in the world. She wanted to be anchor and claimed she could medal against an anchor field of all men, and was handed the baton with a 50m+ lead (as her previous leg was run by a man against 6 women). She got the baton, and by the end, had gotten passed by four men. They ran 400m faster than she ran 350m. The WNBA players wanting to make as much, or closer to the NBA players: well, the WNBA doesn't make money. It's stadiums are 2/3 empty most nights, it's entire structure is subsidized by the NBA itself, and people don't tune in on TV. They even have the season largely to themselves as it's in the summer. No NFL or NCAA football, no NBA or NCAA basketball, no NHL. MLB hasn't been a ratings grabber on TV for decades, so there's really no excuse...except it isn't as fun to watch. Even women who are polled say they watch the NBA over WNBA. And I don't care how woke/feminist you are, EVERYONE goes, "Ooooh..." and gasps when they see these crossover sports where a man is hitting or throwing a woman. Because the human instinct is to be protective of women. It isn't something society baked into us; it's our God-given nature. The men themselves always appear to feel bad immediately. It doesn't mean men are better than women, they are just different. We excel at different things, and THAT is what should be celebrated about each other. Women being able to carry and birth a child is a beautiful thing; men can't do that no matter what lies the trans community tries to spin. Men will be better at sports and combat. Men will lean more towards STEM fields while women will lean more towards humanitarian fields. They have found this to be even more true in egalitarian societies.

@saltedllama2759 ... "It doesn't mean men are better than women, they are just different. We excel at different things"...Your entire last paragraph is nice, and truthful, except this statement, which you do mention later in the paragraph. Physically and athletically, men are far, far better than women. That's one way we're different. Our bones are harder and have a different structure. Our hips are placed closer, which is more effective kicking with them. Our musculature is immensely more...even though women can lift a couch or table and think this means they're as strong as men; the weakest man is about as strong as the strongest woman (there's a study showing -- generally -- this is true). Women do things men can't, and men do things women can't....such as sport, as illustrated.

This whole debate just blows my mind. I was an NCAA Division 1 cross-country skiier on the women’s team and there is no way any of our varsity women could keep up with the varsity men, or even the JV men for that matter. I know because we trained with them every day. We never had to wonder. Serena Williams knows her own limitations and she is an amazing female athlete. Professional sports are a form of entertainment. Fads change over time, and Esports are gaining popularity, so maybe women have a better shot there as time goes on, but for now more people just want to watch men compete at physical sports. People vote with their dollars in entertainment. Some women make a great living as athletes. It’s just fewer than men until women’s sports or female athletes have something more entertaining to offer their male and female audiences. That’s just how capitalism works. 🤷♀️

Unfortunately, female players lose consistently against male players in eSports too, with some rare exceptions. That may change as more women get into eSports. Even when we sparred for points (super light contact with points given based on clean hits landed to certain parts of the body) men overwhelmingly won their matches with very few exceptions. The men were just faster and stronger, even when holding back on power. With our grappling matches we had to segregate the matches because a lot of the guys were getting sloppy with their techniques due to being able to just brute force their way out of the women's holds and locks.

True story: I worked for a medical college in California. We trained people to become nurses, medical assistants and radiology technicians. I was responsible for handling the entrance exams to the programs. I was the only guy and was hypocritically always required to do the jobs the women didn't want to. Simultaneously, these women would act like they were masters of their fields and acted like the school was Harvard and that they were at the pinnacle of their career. These women would go out of their way to say "I don't need no man" while constantly asking for my help. One day, the local police department arranged an active shooter drill. The police came over on a class day and brought a fake gun that made gun shots and walked room to room screaming for; "lydia" (they made it as real as possible). The women came to my desk and cowered behind me in fear (knowing full well that it was a drill). They pulled on the back of my shirt, while crying and asked me "if the real thing happened, you would save us, right?". I was entertained by the process because conveniently all of the feminism and equality disappeared when they thought their lives were on the line.

I was a Sophomore in High School and attended a tennis camp that was taught by Marty Gilbert (Brad Gilbert's brother and coach of Philadelphia University). One of the instructors was a former professional tennis player and was, at her highest point in her career, ranked number 20 in the world (I really can't remember her name). Admittedly, she was in her late 30's during the camp (I was 16), but we had a tournament where the instructors would also play. I played her in the first round and beat her 6-1, 6-3. My high school wasn't really that good at tennis, and I was on their JV team. I would repeatedly get demolished by our varsity squad, and our varsity squad would repeatedly get destroyed in our state tournaments. This instructor only took 4 points total on my service games. I aced her over 20 times, and rallies rarely got over 3 strokes. I know this is anecdotal, but it is what I know happened.

Despite that success, an average male fighter (Somchai Jidi) was able to knock her out after she was easily outmatched in both strength & skill. Men and women are physically different & that's perfectly normal. She obviously didn't win that fight but she earned respect for the attempt.

Ngl, as a female, I still think that playing against guys (not professionally or on live tv or anything) is a good thing, because what better way to gain experience than getting your ass beat? So long as you know what you’re getting into and don’t take it out on your practice partner. Also none of that double teaming or cheating bs

This is 100% correct. A lot of women in professional sports play men to get better. But that's takes a little humble attitude

Eh. I don't fully agree with this idea. Sometimes you get your ass beat so bad that you don't even know what to do to improve. You are just so outclassed that there is nothing to be learned. It's just an ass beating. If I played a grand master in chess, I wouldn't learn anything. I'd just lose. I understand the basics, I played a bit when I was younger, and I'm still knowledgeable to an extent. But a grand master is just so much better than me that it wouldn't serve any purpose outside of the spectacle that is a grand master showing what they do best. A woman playing against a man is the same thing.

As a female who plays football/soccer, I can totally agree. Most of the time, you can easily see who started playing football in a boys team and who only played with girls. It's shown in the way of being "afraid of the ball", shown on the way of looking for or avoiding physical contact,..

I love this... Not because I enjoy watching women losing to men, but because I think this IDEA of men/women being physically equal is one of the dumbest things ever. The sad part is there are people (mostly women) that ACTUALLY believe it to be true.

I'm just a regular joe soccer player. I never played at a very high level (Div 1 was the highest). I was playing in a mixed league against some high-end woman varsity soccer players (University of Saskatchewan). They were on the starting 11 for the team. I play defense and they couldn't get around me. I was playing as hard as I could, but I would expect players of this caliber to be faster, fitter, and more skilled. I actually got yelled at because I was playing "too hard". It was wild to me.

Honestly. In my 37 years on this planet I have not observed a woman put in the dedicated time to practice like I do men. Everyday I drive by a large public park with 4 baseball diamonds and a large soccer field. Plus open grass. Do I ever see a group of girls out there practicing? No.. I don’t. But everyday I see guts out there doing something. That’s the difference. A girl will learn a skill, get good at it and say I’m good. A man will learn, get good, want to STILL IMPROVE and get better. Gotta be psychological

It's evolution. Men that competed, gained skills, competence, the ones that had the desire to do those things, they were the sexually selected ones and it reflects in our gender. Women didn't have to do shit but turn up with a front flap and it reflects in their gender.

In High School I told our Female coach I would not wrestle against a girl as I could hurt them. I tried to tell her my Father who served during Vietnam, and my Grand Father who fought during WWII taught me un armed combat. She looked at me, and said to fight against her. I took her up on her offer as I really didn't like her. Bye the time I got done I had broken her arm cause she tried to kick me in the crotch. My training took over, and I broke her left arm. No one would wrestle against me after that.

That clip of the young boy subduing the woman in jiu-jitsu reminded me of all the tussles I had with my big sister when I was young. Anyone learning martial arts knows to tap early and tap often to avoid injury, so it shows that she acknowledged that he could really hurt her if he tried. My sister was big into taekwondo when she was in high school and was either a blue or brown belt (I can't remember which). Even as a seven or eight year old, I still handily won all of the fights one way or another. She would kick the shit out of me all day long, but I would always eventually wrestle her to the ground. I felt bad whenever I actually hurt her though, because that was never the goal even when I was mad at her. She took martial arts to defend herself and protect her little brother. Now, as adults, I'm thankful that we are still best friends and that I get to protect her now. ✊

I'm all in for anyone to take on martial art classes. But it's dangerous to tell people (especially women) that they'd be able to defend themselves with it when the sh*t really hits the fan. Of course it's good to know some techniques by heart and be in shape but in general martial ARTS with their rules and restrictions are rarely applicable real, unhinged fighting in the streets.

Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way), don't help either. Thank you very much for your time. Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. Salam (Peace)
