I discovered Metallica Ironically by default on Napster😂 Been a fan ever since. Bought every single cd they had released and a guitar. They’ve inspired me to make my own music, start a band and as James taught me: I dreamt big, and i dared to fail. I owe these guys so much. The joy that music brought me, and everything that comes with it. Gigs, friendships and so on… Long live Metallica!!

One thing fascinates me... and it's how calm and collected Lars looks during this performance. Looking at any other performance of this song he's doing his typical Lars faces and just being the animal he is. But this performance... Just look at him! He's right in the pocket, just surfing the music with everything he has, not beating the shit out of the drums as he usually does... just flowing with it. I'm getting the air of: "This is the performance of Nothing Else matters that I've been waiting for my entire life. No performance before or after will ever matter again." Sorry for the ramble, but it's been waiting for 20 years to come out.
