Only recently came across your channel Chris. I’ve watched several now and enjoyed each one. You’ve inspired me to get out there and wet a line again. 😀

Hi again Chris. Would love to se how you rig your method feeder and thoughts and ideas regarding how close you have the hair the hook and how big the hair/loop is. Rigged my first Drennan method feeder earlier today with hair and pop up (one red maggot and one corn). Caught one tench but still not convinced I got the hair right. The bolt rig itself is 12 cm long. Best regards from Sweden 🇸🇪

Hej Chris, I tie the hair with the shortest loop I can, I like to have the bait touching the bend of the hook while using the method feeder. If I’m using larger baits I use a hair extender to allow for the bigger bait. The length of the braid from the feeder is usually 3 or 4 inches, the shortest I can tie with a grinder knot. I think your idea would work well and Drennan feeders are great. You could try artificial baits which work well and are perfect for the tench to suck up your bait. Tight lines
