Terrible! Thank goodness for DNA testing. Back in the 70s, a young lady called me on the phone. She said that she’d just come back from the doctor’s office and she’d learned that she was pregnant. I asked her, who was the father. She became very indignant and answered that I was the father and it couldn’t have been anyone else. I then chose my words very carefully. I didn’t mention months but I asked her how far gone was she. She told me that she was two months pregnant. I then said: “Do you realize that I’ve only known you for nine days?” True story.

It's protected by your rights, they will not give it to me. Where were his rights exercised up until the point of him finally stepping in and having to pay to protect himself? The answer is, he had no rights against her using his name in order for her to get what she wanted. Thus no rights. Something has to be done. I married my child’s mother almost two years after my child support order from the friend of the court. The friend of the court kept rejecting my partition/motion to modify. They simply wouldn’t schedule a hearing before a judge so I can end stop the order. Finally, I hired a lawyer on was in front of judge in 2 weeks.

Prosecute the person who files the false paternity suit(s), sentence them to prison & require them to payback for all court & legal costs, etc...

Same thing happened to me. Somebody I don't know or ever met was trying to claim child support from me. Fortunately since she didn't know anything about me (or what state I lived in) her story unraveled pretty quickly. Be aware, these women are scandalous!

What this video fails to acknowledge is these women only receive free services -IF- they provide a man’s name. They won’t get services if they don’t. It’s a disgusting policy that needs to stop.

Interesting how they claim emotions are a consideration for not passing mandates and laws protecting men from lying women in child support cases, but never a concern for the man, or possibly his family's emotional well being. Destroying innocent people's lives with false statements and accusations is a crime in so many other arenas, yet given the gravity and life changing results or effects, this too should be handled with the same zealousness

She could’ve costed him his marriage, job and reputation. Thankfully he has a wife with integrity and it didn’t interfere with his job. A woman can change a man’s life by snapping her finger. Imagine how many men she’s probably slept with for her to just pick a random stranger out of the blue, someone she’s never even met. That child may never know who their father is.

"The initial letter sent to his home stated a woman, whom we are not naming..." Why not? Why isn't she being named? By not naming her, you tell every woman who would try something like this that there is no penalty for trying. If it fails, oh well, move on. If it succeeds, you get to force a man to pay for a child that isn't his. Edit: Just to add to what I've said, this isn't a case of, well I slept with him and really thought he was the father. She never slept with him. She never MET him! She knew there was no possible way he could be the father. She should be charged and thrown in jail.

I would sue for defamation and emotional distress brought upon my family. It's not that they couldn't seek a paternity test, but to bring this to his family, workplace, and threat of legal action are stress, embarrassment, and potential harm to my family life that I would not let go just because I get a letter stating I'm excluded from being the father.

And there needs to be charges against women who lie about this or at least a fine...I'm glad things worked out for this man and his family...i hope that little girl can one day know her real father 🙏🏾❤️
