The pass to Caffey at 0:48 is awesome. That happened when defenses focused too much on Jordan, he would somehow find the open man for an easy basket. Ballhog my ass. Somehow I get the feeling that the call at 4:47 wouldn't happen in todays NBA. The chance of another highlight dunk would be too tempting and the refs would swallow their whistles.

If you knew anything about the Bulls, you would know that Jordan would practice with Pip after every practice and teach him new moves and play horse and stuff. Not to mention Jordan's consumate professionalism, approach to the game night in adn out, infamous workouts (PIp joined the Breakfast Club in the late 90's with MJ) and the fact that MJ took the onus off Pip of being THE MAN every night. And as far as saying Kobe doesnt want to be like MJ, I will not dignify that stupidity with an answer!

No one should even entertain the idea of Kobe being better until Kobe can get one season under his belt of 50% fg. Or 47% for that matter. Opinions are funny when they're not supported after comparisons. Kobe's highest Fg% for a season is .469. That's just one example. And this is by no means an attack against Kobe, because I enjoy watching him play just as much as everyone else. But be real.

When I study Michael's moves, I wonder how does he get into the lane? Whenever I drive into the lane I either get stripped or I put up a bad shot. It looks like Mike just goes full power. I think I'll try that.

@rebornatm23 I think his long arms and big hands was a big big advantage for him on that aspect.... See how easy it was for him to change the direction of the ball

I think this is the game where he does a repeat of that famous hangtime move vs. the Nets, but misses. He also gets nowhere near as much air. Still, it was a nice aerial improvisation. I'm pretty sure it was this game, since I have this on tape somewhere.

5:20 amazing with the presence of mind knowing that the double team is coming and take it before the GRant can truly make it difficult for him

Was scottie pippen a great player when he arrived at the Bulls? Was Scottie pippen a great player during the 1990 playoffs vs the Pistons(he had great flashes but was not consistent in this series). If you can't understand how playing and practicing with Jordan every day didn't make PIppen a better player, competitor and leader, then you obvoiusly do not know basketball. Look at Pippen's 1994 season; that Pip would never emerge if he hadn't learned from Jordan.

NO, there would be no scottie pippen if it WERENT for Jordan. the only reason kobe won was the pau gasol trade, plain and simple! Before that trade lakers were a 5 or 6th seed in teh west and not a true contender (which is why kobe did another of his cry baby summers). Pau is there most consistent performer night in adn night out, NOT kobe! Jordan MADE his teammates better; Kobe's teammates have stayed on the same level they always were. Kobe will never be like Mike, so get over yourself!
