Watching these young folks taste these never-seen or never-experienced mooncakes till now made me 😂🤣! Hilarious! So fun watching them and hear their funny unique comments! Good job, guys! Now, wouldn’t it be just wonderful to do a similar video but this time have 3 elderly (aunties, uncles) try out those non-traditional (like chocolate, durian, ice-cream etc) mooncakes and hear what they have to say? I think it will be fun.

中秋节快乐! 月饼节快乐! 灯笼节快乐! Personal favourite: Teochew Mooncake The other "pia" i will have every now and then when i have craving.. The Hakka one i used to have before when i was very young maybe 25 to 30 years back? I remembered having them at some home temples or temple areas. Its like commonly used for 拜拜 back then.

中秋节快乐! The teochew mooncake shiok hor! Salty and sweet 🤤 Still more common for baibai now actually, but also considered a mooncake so we had to try :) Where's your favourite spot to get the teochew mooncakes?

@@themeatmensg I usually get mine from Golden Peony (coz i used to work at Conrad) , Peony Jade or Gin Thye. Apart from these 3 places that I get for my family or gifts as they suit their taste (have to play safe), i'd just buy off bakerys. I have not tried those from those new places that has been recommended recently though like Fyre.. I wonder where you guys like yours from so I can get for my family to try too.
