I can’t believe I know these things but I do cause I was an omega fan of Creed back in the day. Brian Marshall left Creed in 2000 (after Human Clay came out) and they hired Brett Hestla on bass, and it helped that he can sing, cause he went on to sing his ass off for a butt rock/nu metal “supergroup” called Dark New Day with Clint Lowery (Sevendust, but also toured with Seether), Troy McLawhorn (went on to play in Seether and then Evanescence), Corey Lowery (too many butt rock bands to list, but is now in Seether after Clint), and Will Hunt (American Head Charge, joined Evanescence…but did not drum for Seether 😂). Pat will hate the music, but I liked their two albums, especially the second record with “Goodbye” and “Saddest Song” And while we can dunk on Creed for down-tuning, they only went down a half step. Drop C# from drop D. But mayyybe they should go down another half step to C since Scott Stapp is still straining, idk

Fun fact about Creed: SA Martinez from the band 311 punched Scott Stapp in the face. Stapp was in the same Restaurant as some of the 311 guys. Stapp disrespected Martinez’s wife and the drummer from 311, Chad Sexton, told him to stop. So Stapp punched Sexton in the face then Martinez punched Stapp in the face.
@OdyTypeR

That was respectful of Martinez to wait until he had a "reason", as opposed to walking up to Stapp and laying him out on sight just _because_ of the punchable face. Guess Stapp went from feeling 🎶Higher🎶 to finding out what it feels like to be 🎶Down, Down🎶
