@@kekejohnson687 he was but he fought the best there was. He knocked out Larry Holmes who continued to fight for 14 more years and was never knocked out again even though he fought some big names like Holyfield and Mercer. A lot of other fighters he fought were just never the same after fighting Tyson. Please type of brutal knockouts really do a number on a fighter's career. Biggs, Spinks, and Thomas above come to mind. Biggs was an Olympic gold with an undefeated pro record before he fought Tyson. Spinks beat Holmes twice and a lot of experts predicted his awkward boxing style would confuse Tyson. Either way, after 1989 Tyson was never the same. Yes, sadly Dee is correct. The last great fight of Tyson was Spinks in 88. After that, personal demons took over and he fired longtime trainer Kevin Rooney and was never the same. He won his next two fights against Bruno and Truth Williams, but watch those fights. He was still good, but no longer one of the all time greats. He stopped moving his head and became a purely offensive fighter. His next fight was his first loss to Douglas and the rest is history.
