We present to you the simple recipes of Kiyomi Mikuni, the owner and chef of the Mikuni hotel, a French cuisine restaurant in the Yotsuya district of Tokyo.

【Ingredients】 for 2 to 4 people
300g thinly sliced beef
100g button mushroom
1 onion
50g Otafuku brand okonomiyaki sauce
50g of Kagome brand tomato sauce
200 ml water
30ml brandy
Some flour
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon soy sauce
30g unsalted butter
Cooked rice for the number of guests
【Preparation】
・ Season the meat with salt and pepper. Then sprinkle it with some flour.
・ Thinly slice the button mushrooms and onion.
【Procedure】
1. Heat half the butter in a fry pan and sweat the onion and mushroom slices.
2. Add the meat and brown it. Add the brandy.
3. Add tomato sauce, Otafuku sauce, and water and simmer.
4. Finish by stirring in the remaining butter. Finally, add in the 1 tbsp soy sauce to adjust the seasoning.
