Dr Miles Benton (ESR - at the time of recording) will be talking about The Disruptive Nature of Portable Sequencing for Community Empowerment (with a tangent into GPU computer).
Miles' current role is as a Senior Bioinformatician at Oxford Nanopore Technologies in the Singapore Applications Team. He has extensive experience in computational genomics and bioinformatics, specialising in human health genomics.
Miles was part of the Genomics Aotearoa Bioinformatics Leadership Team for 3 years, where he was responsible for overseeing bioinformatics support for health projects across New Zealand.
