The primary goal of mindful breathing is simply a calm, non-judging awareness, allowing thoughts and feelings to come and go without getting caught up in them. This is a short guided exercise and therefore well suited to beginners.
Pick a comfortable place to sit or lie down, close your eyes and follow the guided instructions.
The more you practice, the more likely you are to benefit.
