Ron it's Mindi, I am watching you from Kailua Kona Hi now, instead of Lake County Can. It looks like your still doing life great. Your an inspiration for me. Thank you, when I think of my happy place, it's still down your gravel road. Sitting at the creek

Those shelves are shaping up beautifully! That hard work is paying off. You have showed us your water system before. But interesting to see it again. Looks like you and pup are surviving the winter just fine. I have a small and a large Stanley Thermos. Guess I am old school. I like the ole green ones. The way they were growing up! ;)

Thanks 👍 Yep I had the original one for my coffee for many years. Even had the lunchbox one that fit into the lid when I was in school. I wish I still had it it’s probably worth something today.😂

Funny, you mentioned burning symbols of your old life. I did the same thing with all the postal clothes I had to wear as a letter carrier. Note to self...stand further from the burn barrel when burning polyester fabrics. They stink! Thanks for sharing your journey with us, Ron.

I totally understand the stress factor. I worked doing fiber optic fed data systems for big business like Discover card, Abbott Labs, Bank One and others. Try dumping all their data in 1 second. Just a little stress. It will kill you if you let it. It's easy these days to get caught up in the rat race. Great video

🙏 so far so good. I had one big tree top come down. Luckily it missed the mill area just by feet. I have had 4-5” of rain in the last week. I’m high and dry though. Lots of run off. Thanks for thinking of me. I should have a new video by Saturday.👍

Funny you should bring up "decluttering". I've been doing that for the last 2 weeks. Going thru everything. Amazing what I DON'T need that I thought I did. Your shelves are coming along beautifully. Can't wait to see the finished project.

Peace is so much better then “stuff”. I can so relate to what you are saying about fashion, things and stuff. I have what I need and really my wants are tiny. Maybe another garden bed. 🤣 That’s about it. I am happy with simplicity. I could careless about what is “trendy”. And, I’m happy. 👍 Great vid as always!

Hey Ron! Always happy when I get to watch a new video from you. Glad you are well. Keep on Keepin on! Blessings for 2024. PS: How did you de-clutter sentimental ideas when you left your large home: year books, items from childhood, etc. These items are the most difficult for me to let go of. Yet I know they are not needed as the memories are in my heart and head.

LOL, i havent bought a new pair of tennis shoes in this lifetime of 68 yrs as of yesterday that cost me over $25.....I think i may have gone $29 once...I look at some of the prices in the stores of those things and i just cant believe how much they are....I got a pair right now i paid $24 for and im on my 4th yr of wearing them...Dont get me wrong, they look like 4 yr old worn shoes, but it more than works for me.....5 yrs ago i got a $100 gift card from BIG 5 Sporting goods....Went in there and bought 4 pairs of tennis shoes and one pair of cheap hiking boots for a $129...Hiking boots still look brand new and ive only touched 1 pair of those tennis shoes to date....Point is, i have a shoes for the rest of my life for what you pay for one pair of these shoes today...

Great walk and talk Ron. Every time I move something I ask myself now, do I need it? You just made me think again about a trailer full still at my folks, I need to bring it here and go through it and get rid of a lot of stuff in it. You take care bud.
