Hello Ken : ) Happy to see your back to making videos, and I like the simplicity of your space.

Thanks! By having such a minimal setup, it allows for more creative space 👀 at least that’s how I think lol

Funny thing about my sewing set up is that I have a big table but my supplies are on it so I rarely use it however I do have a second sewing table that’s very similar to yours with a mat, sewing machine (we have the same one !!), and everything lol. I find it helpful to sew on a smaller table with the mat free of supplies so I don’t knock anything over / it’s good to have a space that’s always decluttered, clean, and ready to make patterns on or sew! Please upload more content!!

Haha, I agree. When I had my spot, i felt like having too much things/space was a bad thing. I always ended up sewing somewhere else cause there was less clutter. But I’ll be uploading more videos soon. Every week 👀

Smart use of space. Is the table stable enough to handle excess vibration from the sewing machine?
@kenandrewdaily
5 жыл бұрын
It’s pretty stable. The only time I feel it would become unstable is when sewing at higher speeds. So this table is best for people who make projects here and there. Not for people who decide to mass produce lol.

Great space, where's the fabric? This is my issue
@kenandrewdaily
5 жыл бұрын
I forgot to show it, but it’s within a container. I can’t and won’t buy more fabric until it’s empty. I’ll probably talk about this in my next video

I just came across your channel because I'm researching starring a sewing channel. Do you think it makes sense to start a sewing channel in 2019 being that there are soo many sewing channels that already exists?

All Dis Body I also recommend the Juki HZL- G120 or G220! It’s around 700 and I know it’s not inexpensive but it’s a great machine with over 180 stitches + it’s heavy duty ! I’ve sewn through 3 layers of denim as well as a few layers of pleather ! It’s also the machine Ken uses I believe! It’s pricey but a really good investment for the long run especially if you want to sew a lot! Best of luck finding your machine! It’s always good to research various price points so you can see what options you have!

In addition to what everyone said, you can always check your local thrift store for 2nd hand sewing machines.

Be careful with storing your machine on its side. Oil may leak.
@kenandrewdaily

Thanks for the advice, I’ll make sure to leave a mat or something below the machine when being stored.
