Mint Rice Easy and Tasty breakfast or lunch Recipe | Pudina Rice | Lunch box Idea
Pudina Rice Mint Rice is a fragrant, spicy and tasty one-pot dish made with fresh mint leaves, basmati rice or sonamasoori rice, some more spices and herbs. This pudina rice is best served with some plain yogurt or raita or papad or salad or pickle etc.
🥣Ingredients:
Cook Rice:
Sonamasoori rice - 1 cup
Water - 2 cup
Salt - 3/4 tsp
For Mint masala:
Pudina/mint - 1 hand ful
Raw peanut - 1 tbsp
Chana dal - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Green chilli - 1 or 2
Ginger - small piece
Garlic - 2 cloves
Tamarind - 1 grape size
Water - 1/2 cup for grinding
Pudina rice
Oil - 2 tbsp
Raw Peanuts - 2 tbsp
Cashew nuts - 5
Curry leaves - 10
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Mint masala
Salt to taste
Cooked rice
Coriander leaves for garnishing
