@@Bentahila , did you know that koklyaev was already serving in spetsnaz , just a few days before accident , huh ? In russia ,if you are in police or even in special forces you are basically immune to this kind of crimes , you will always be innocent , there are many examples of drunk driving police officers that get away with it. Do you really think that koklyaev is a good man ? He basically ruined his whole life with alcohol, he is more of a clown than a sportsman by now.

He keeps his back straight under very heavy loads (even 900lbs+) and he lifts in one smooth motion. Thats unique with those weights
@fredator76
7 жыл бұрын
Henk Kruid One motion?? You mean Pete right?? Cause the fat guy straighten his legs first then finish with back... his movement is far less optimal than Pete's.
@frenchbastard3869
7 жыл бұрын
Henk Kruid I agree! Notice how his feet are shoulder width. I used to deadlift with my feet hip width apart, since I watched that video I mimic Mikhail feet and hand placement, my hand are slightly past shoulder width. I feel much more stronger with feet wider apart, for me, it essentially transfer some of the load to the hips, quads and mid back instead of most of the load on the lower back hence more strength+stability in the lift. But am 6'1 so its obviously more biomechanically effective that way. Another thing that happened is after lifting for sets, I barely had any lower back soreness and I recovered much faster although I lifted more weight. Go figure, his technique works for me.

Jesse Norris, John Haack, Brett Gibbs, all tested powerlifters who can hang with people on juice. That Eric guy is strong but he only got to 650lb conventional deadlift completely peaked for it. Pete pulls 300lb more peaked. He is strong but nothing compared to these guys in the cage
@jtyree0226

7 жыл бұрын
Hey Sherlock maybe just maybe the "Jerfferson DL" is easier than the conventional that's why he does 200lb more... I don't know, doesnt seem obvious? He is outlifted by a ton of people. People give him too much credit when there's tons of elite lifters who dont get as much attention as he does and put up way impressive lifts. Again, I do think he's a strong guy, but putting him next to Pete Rubish is dumb as fuck
