@@2pokeryan I'll be honest I was lucky, a friend of mine was able to replace it for me as he was a Volvo mechanic which is ideal for this engine! If I remember correctly the filter housing itself was around £150 and then the rest labour. I'd expect a tad more from a garage though. And yeah same. Can't beat that 5pot roar 👌 keep up the good content mate!

TEK94 if mine was to go think I would swap it myself, as I have been told it’s not to hard of a job to do if you’ve got a group A fitted. And it’s not to bad for the price of the part I suppose.

Hard to explain but between where the seat meets the back of the seat you can pull up the bottom part upwards which the if u pull the seat down it becomes flat 👍

With regards to your folding back seat, I have the ST2,5 & when going through the manual, I found that the bottom section of the seats, fold forward against the back of the front seats. That allows for you to fold your seats completely flat... Just slip your hand in the gap where the seat buckles are & pull, then you lower your seat as per normal

Any mapping u have done mate ur going to need the RS clutch as the OEM clutch is useless. Intercooler, and crossover plus RS plugs will get u to the 320hp mark. Other mods to consider are lowering, spacing, bigger intake pipes, uprated plenum, recirc valve, RS vac pipe, front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, vents, RS spoiler(not for everyone) 3” downpipe and decat.... loads on these mate. Enjoy it as you do have a very mint example (like mine lol) I have the same!!
@2pokeryan

Lee Kemp yes mate I will be doing the clutch just done recently the rs plugs. Just waiting for this covid19 lockdown to end so can get the clutch done. And most of that list you’ve put there, is what I’ve got in my todo list. And thanks mate. And you have an electric orange aswell ?

Ryan_st3 I do indeed mate. I have a mint example as do you by the looks. I have a 2009 with 44k on the clock. I was very please actually that u disclosed what u had bought it for as it gave me an insight to what mine may be worth although I have probably spent a further £10k on mods. Enjoy the car mate and treat it with respect and u shouldn’t really have any issues. Block mod was a worthwhile spend. Mines not a daily so doesn’t do many miles so hopefully should hold a good price. There ain’t many facelift ST3 left out there that are really mint.
@2pokeryan

Lee Kemp it’s not gonna be my daily for much longer hopefully. And if you ever get round to selling it mate, strip it back to stock form if it’s in mint condition. You’ll get a lot for it man I know few people who are after one.

Don't worry about the clutch unless it goes, I got Revo Stage1 about a year ago and still bites like new (14 yo clutch). Looking to get block mod and stage 2 in few months but keeping clutch until it goes. I agree silver does look bit bland mate but when people see a 5 door silver Focus they don't expect it to be fairly nippy 😁 enjoy the motor mate, I was gonna go for mk3 but wanted to own one of these before they became extinct, I have no plans to get rid coz I love it! Trying to persuade the wife to get a mk3 for me to use as daily👍

Boab M does your clutch not slip in the 5th and 6th ? And that’s a true point mate and I do wish I had a 5 door as more practical. But when I think about it this isn’t gonna be my daily for much longer so. And just looked at your silver one and it looks really clean mate. And you’ll have to get in her good book and hope she gets one 🤪
