Bought it and printed it. It is worth mentioning that the design contains an option to print bow limbs and use rubber bands or rubber tubes. It comes with three different limb lengths and three different barrel lengths, although what I have seen being used in the video is an extra-long barrel. You can print it with a default stock, without stock, or with an AR-style stock brace. It also comes with an option for 6, 8, 10, and 12mm ball diameters. I used a regular PLA+ and the gun is plenty sturdy.

Great video. Always enjoy your reviews. When I still lived in Russia as a kid we used to make our own slingshot guns. A little similar to this but rubber band instead of bow. We would make the barrel out of plastic pipes and used ball bearings from T-34 tanks because we lived next to a tank factory and there were tank parts all over the place at a dump behind the factory. We would jump the fence and steal all kinds of tank parts before the soldiers noticed us. Hahaha

1:10 Hexagonal barrel probably has less surface area contact with the ball, thus doesn't reduce power, doesn't create as much friction. And also lets air move more freely so that air doesn't create much resistance to the ball (like a train moving through the tunnel, you know that "wind" aka air that train is pushing, it makes train slower and consume more fuel or electric energy, like being slowed by parachute)

The key to go down the fastest is by only touching the ride with 3 points of your body instead of the whole body. If the area of contact was in any way irrelevant, every single way to go down the slide would be equally fast, but it isn't. The above mentioned "friction" is NOT the same as the theoretical concept of "friction FORCE".

You don't really want a round barrel on anything that isn't relying on sealing in pressure behind the projectile; hexagon's good, square would be better. A round barrel properly sized to fit a spherical projectile will have the ball touch the walls all around its circumference, a sphere in a square barrel will only touch the walls at 4 points, center of each flat side; you get the same direction stabilizing effect, with far less friction. A round barrel that's larger than the projectile will have it rattle around, bounce around from wall to wall, maybe obtain spin in a random direction.

Didn't had the opportunity to shoot it at longer distances but on short, it goes through 20 sheets of paper with ease and then digs into my hard target foam. Got an Adder 90lbs arm here, maybe I put this in for a change. Also want to print the newer version with a longer draw, after my Bambu Lab X1C arrived, as this would take too long on the Geeetech printer I already have. Hint for the ammo: If you want to use dissovable ammo which you do not have to search for in your garden, there are mud balls available up to 10mm. In that case, your better option is with smaller calibers.
