My historically obsessed self couldn't help pointing out that in regency times women did wear corsets. Short stays were worn to lift up the breasts rather than slim the waist. I could go on, but I keep on reminding myself that this is a revival and isn't meant to be historically accurate.

Looking forward to the series! Please do Midwest 1870s-80s (think Little House on the Prairie). I loved the show and would love to see your take on something a modern Laura Ingalls Wilder would wear! Also, maybe you could also start a series focusing on fantasy beings and mythical creatures such as fairies, elves, mermaids, witches and unicorns - I'm thinking a modern day Arwen or Galadriel would be cool - idk maybe this is too far-fetched haha!

Cool series! I just wanted to say that stays were still worn in this period, though they were shaped differently. They were made to lift and separate the breasts for a classical-inspired look, instead of lifting and compressing as stays before had. So the point is, the 'corset' wasn't abandoned, the silhouette of regency fashions isn't as free of artifice as you imagine, and women have always loved bust support. Small correction on a great video :)
