Took a trip up to Montauk to hop on a party boat (Miss Montauk was the boat) and try our luck at a doormat Flounder, we had some great weather but with no wind, we had slow flukin, both tan and myself caught an easy limit of both Fluke and seabass, both using a 2oz spro with whatever kind of Gulp was on hand, but the big doormat eluded us. We fished 60-100 feet of water. After not sleeping the night before, we found a hotel and slept many hours waking up the next morning and fishing a jetty there in, finding searobin after searobin in a quick half hour session. managed 2 short fluke amongst the robins before leaving and running into a fishaholic and then going on a 4hr afternoon party boat trip.
