What is the word for the combination of heteronormativity, heterosexism, religious trauma, and internalized homophobia and how it stays with you for, oh, a LONG long time if left ignored?
You guessed it, it is called Moral Injury. Maybe you have heard of this phrase before. Many people have, usually in reference to veterans of other similar occupations. But this video is all about how the term (and concept of) moral injury impacts the LGBTQIA+ Community, what that means for us, and how to move through those difficulties.
