Ingredients:
For the rice flour mixture
Rice flour - 1 cup
Sour curd - 2 cups
Water - 2.5 cups
Asafoetida - 1 tsp
Salt

For the tempering
Sesame oil - 4 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Channa dhal - 1 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Green chillies - 4 nos (chopped)
Fried buttermilk chillies - 2 nos
Method:
1. Dilute the curd in water and make buttermilk.
2. To the buttermilk add the rice flour, salt, asafoetida and mix well to ensure there are no lumps. Set aside.
3. In a heavy bottom vessel, heat oil and temper with mustard seeds, channa and urad dhals, curry leaves, green chillies.
4. Pour in the buttermilk, rice flour mixture and keep stirring continuously.
5. Ensure there are no lumps.
6. When it thickens, add in the fried buttermilk chilles to this mixture.
7. Add more oil and keep stirring until it leaves the sides of the wok.
8. Switch off the stove.
9. Serve hot or pour this over a plate. Cool, cut in squares and serve.
