Interesting, those carbs are not too distant from a modern Mikuni flatslide. Also reminds me I have a set of Amals in the shed that need to be redone..... Colin ;-)

Hi Paul, great video on the rebulid of the carb, very insightful. currently working on a 1986 Honda CS125 with a Dellorto VHB(Z) Carb - do you have a video on tuning these after theyve been cleaned and reinstated on bike?

You've really only got the slide stop and idle mixture adjustments. Set the idle stop so you can just see light under the slide and the mixture screw about 2 1/2 turn out. That should get you running.

Paul i have a v35 guzzi with these carbs. Ive renovated them but im finding it hard to tune them? They are very rich. How would i overcome this please? Thankyou love your videos..

Hello Paul, very good your videos. I have a question that I want to ask you. Does the idle needle regulate the air inlet or the fuel inlet? I mean the needle (idle jet) you talk about at minute 10:15 of this Dellorto VHB 25 BS carburetor video. Thanks for your answer.

Idle mixture screw affects fuel. Turn clockwise to lean mixture.

Thanks Paul, this is great. Where do you get your service kits from. I have a late 70s Morini 3 1/2 Strada which I believe has Dell'Orto VHB 25 BS carburettors. Any clues on where to get service kits and which one to get? Hope you can help.

Hui Paul great video, very informative, just that you got me a bit concerned when you mentioned about the Atomizer. you see i have a 76 Morini350 sport version (restoring atm and never started it up) and it has the 260 k in not the BD as it should be. Should i concern myself that once finished its going to trouble me? cheers

Atomiser selection can be a bit of a black art. A road test will determine if the K atomisers suit your engine, they were fitted to some Morini 350s. The B and BD types are very hard to find now, but the K can be modified into either of the other types by drilling extra holes.
