As a recent subscriber I'm enjoying your films, and all the schemes of work. It's all interesting to see success as well as failure. As a bloke just turned 65 I've had my fair share of skinned knuckles, and crawling around on the floor. Good on you mate.👍

spot welds are always fun. I have used the tools like that but buy the kits with a dozen tips in (they blunt easily) I drill a small pilot hole to hold the tip steady. If I repair / reuse the panel the plug weld will fill the pilot hole. If I use a new panel the pilot hole will be hidden (or if really fussy plug it with the mig n flap disc over it). Makes it so much easier.

This is an excellent series Mr B (Jonathan ?). Really nostalgic for an old geezer like me, think I said this before but you started with a decent car, in MUCH better condition than my 1970 Traveller when I bought her over 30 years ago and I'm now hoping, at long last, to finish a long -running restoration. Thanks for sharing

Is this car getting a full restoration, it will look awesome, the one thing I have thought is insulation or sound dander for that car, also some paint to protect the floorpans, & major points where it could get rust, that would make it an awesome car/ restoration.
