I marvel at the feelings that drove her to leave a Hollywood life behind and go to a religious one. She is quite naturally pretty, even at an older age. She looks better than almost any woman I've ever seen without makeup, at any age.

I remember being a very young boy in Spain .My mother took me to see the movie " Francis of Assisi" .Saint Francis was Bradford Dillman and Sainte Claire was Dolores Hart. That movie impacted me so much. She also was advertising in the magazine Reader's Digest the soap "Lux" and I cut it out her picture. For me growing in Franco's Gray Spain these actors were like a therapy.

Yes, it's true. But I believe she has a true vocation because she stayed and never left. I didnt come from a religious family to a point. As I got in my twenties i wanted to be a nun, i was too young to know about Delores hart then. But my dad actually saved an article for me that was about her several years ago. My dad wasnt super religious but he came to the conclusion I should be a nun. I have my catholic bible and many saint books. When I was going to college a school mate of mine from high school drove me to my grandma's house before I got my license and shes like out of the blue, oh one day we will all visit you in the convent. I really didnt respond back and actually had a boyfriend at the time. I never became a professed nun, even though I have several friends who I keep in touch with that are nuns. If someone were to ask me if I regret that I'm not a nun, I would have to say yes. I can't live in discouragement because that's like living a life of regret. I love Jesus, and he knows my heart. Maybe some day in the future, I dont know why but I see myself in the convent in the future. Could be the holy spirit prompting me as he guides us in wisdom and warns us about things. Well, I wanted to share my story. I came from a broken home too, God calls people to be in his service from all different backgrounds.

I don't know so much! When she described her mother it very much reminded me of my own mother. Unfortunately she suffered greatly and died from a heroin overdose at the age of 45.its a kind of freedom I came to know as prison. I really understand the choice Delores made and I do believe it will lead her to greater freedom.

@@believewithyourheart5627 I'm sorry you lost your Mom at her young age.... I lost my Dad, [ Daddy didn't smoke, drink or use drugs] , to a sudden brain aneurysm my first year of college...Daddy was 43 years old when he died...He never saw his 4 Children graduate, walked us down the aisle, give birth to his Grandbabies... Daddy's Grandbabies I helped through Dental school, BBAs, MBAs, Culinary school etc... I used my college funds I had saved during years of summer and after school jobs to buy Daddy's beautiful marble Headstone... I endede up working full time and went to college evenings, full time 5.5 years to get MBA/BBA becoming the first in my family to graduate from college...I helped my siblings and their children through their educational journeys, and helped his Mom (Grandmommy died at 94 years old), and my Mama. That said, I believe that love never dies. Your Mom loves you...she may have been self-medicating her pain, there are people in my family who during difficult times, self-medicated with food or drinking... Your Mom is your Guardian Angel... You can visit with her and talk to her in your moments you are alone .... through your thoughts...No one can take those moments with your Guardian Angel from you...

All are called to follow Christ, Delores Hart, using her God given free will chose to exercise that free will entering religious life following Christ. For those who wish to do so the reward is great...to live forever. For man has not seen nor the mind conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him. Oh you of little faith. Mother Hart has given her total love to her creator Who is love. Wonderful. 🦘🌴
