Its actually a goal of mine to live this way. I'm from the Polynesian island of Samoa in the South Pacific and lived in a grass house, farmed food with a machete and built a living in the deepest darkest places of the jungle. Moving to the states, I fell in love with the great vast wilderness and the Rocky Mountains. I've lived this way on an island and I plan to learn and live this way here in the states. That's if the government doesn't run me out, not sure if Utahs laws are against this or not. As for the illegal bridge, as a Eagle Scout and scout master myself, there are scout camps with bridges far worse than that one. What's wrong with this country? My goodness.

mrhumboldthippy He owns hunders of acers that he lives off. This is just one example of why we have the income inequalty that we do in this country. In the name of progress we have regulated the common man out of being able to stand on his own to feet. If he has an idea that can make money, well good luck getting started with all of the regulations he will have to come into complance with. We could do dam good by the people of this country if we rolled back about 150 years of laws held on to the hand full that actually make sence and go back to common law. If you are no affecting another person's person or property there is nothing for the government to act one. What ever you have come to think of Eustace he in not hurting anyone.

exactly man. Its about CONTROL. Just tell them that you own the land fee simple absolute and unless they can provide you with a deed or a contract you entered into with your signature then they have no right to try and administer any right to your land or to you for that matter. If they persist, go to the mom and pop local court house and open up a claim of trespass against them, the man or woman. Have them served and move your own court.

Eustace, I just finished watching the first season of mountain men. You spend the whole season talking about how important your 1000 acres of land is to you. The words you used are "It's my life." I have only one question for you. If your land is so important to you, then why didn't you pay your taxes for all of those years? I also am a landowner and know about how many years it would take to accumulate 85k in debt from backed taxes and its not 1 or 2.
@TheBushdoctor68

The main problem I have with this show is that they used a LOT of scripted material. Best example is the guy who had to track back to his broken snow scooter. When he got there suddenly a box with an entire new engine appeared out of nothing. Eustace chasing poachers while camera's are already in place along the way, making nice shots of him passing by and the list goes on. I respect these mountain men, but the scripted crap that this series shows us is a smudge on their skills and integrity.

The authorities need to be more tolerable with our freedoms . The law is supposed to observe our liberties and rights as citizens of the united states'of America. The law is for the people and by the people. And our rights as citizens of America and freedoms and liberties are being trod on . When they talk about the constitution and American rights of the people. All they talk about and argue about is the 2nd amendment and they don't observe or talk about any of or Rights as human beings. They argue the gun control on both sides and don't observe the other rights and declarations held in the constitution .
