30 second swing. Tai Chi for the golf swing. Very hard for most to slow down the body motion,myself included. Great drill. Love you and Eric collaborating on the last few videos.

Great informational video. Easy to understand..Just wanted to thank u Marty for the Impact Snap, it change my practice to be more complete with better results...Went to Santee Copper SC. with 40 golfers, didnt win any money, but 1st day as a 18 Handicapper was -2, 2nd day -4 3rd day -10. Impact Snap was key. I have it on my long haul truck, and since I havent played since last Oct. I'm started over again with 1 thru 7 day training for reinforce correct movements.....Thanks again, always watching your video for proper technique and reinforcement......Leland

The thirty second swing is a Tai-Chi swing, or at least that's the way I can remember and understand it. The sequence is "Keeping the knees level, turn, push, and now add the arms." Let's all practice that pro dance move during the winter lock-down. Oh, BTW, Eric gets out of sequence at 3:30/10:32. His right heel doesn't lift, and he never really pushes off with his right foot. He's human like us, but that proves the golf swing is an unnatural act.

Chicken or the egg? Marty or George G. Either way they are reaching very similar philosophy: stay low with weight loaded from ground up, as body rotates before shifting most weight onto left side at impact and follow thru. Interesting how much up onto his right toe Marty gets while still "loaded into the ground", in order to keep his knees level. Eric does not quite do it as extremely as Marty does. Takes incredible amount of work to "re-train" when you have been swinging "old" school" but it is attainable, or at least enough of the philosophy to help "underneath the plane, back tilting spine-sliders" become more rotational. BTW, the Impact Snap is great training device for exactly what it is named for. Had one for almost 6-7 years now. It works!

Edward, great comment. There are a number of ways of doing this. I learned a lot from a lot of great teachers, Kelvin Miyahira is the closest to what GG is talking about. Any change in golf will take work, but I know it's possible because I have learned and changed while working with 10 of the best teachers over the past 20 years. Keep the comments coming.

@@IMPACTSNAP It always takes work even when you are just "borrowing it". I've watched Kelvin, actually sent him video which he commented on about 2 years ago. Very knowledgeable teacher. Too bad he's so far away!! Thx again and I'll keep watching for more videos. May come see you in spring when weather returns to the NE. Are you affiliated in FL in winter?

@@edwardgibstein8449 Thank you for your comments. Kelvin had a stroke a couple of years ago, I have not spoken with him since, it was severe. I have year round training in upstate NY at Turning Stone, we have 2 domes. I will be in Florida for the PGA merchandise show in January, and in Naples in March 8-12.

Todd, thanks for the note. Yes, I would do this for the clubs you want to hit better. Note, there are some specialty shots that require a different model. Marty

Does that mean keeping weight longer on the back leg on the downswing. Don't lift off until your ready to push off. About when the club is parallel to the ground
@IMPACTSNAP

The downswing takes about .25 seconds, when the left side of the pelvis turns, its time to push with the right.

Do you actually "shuffle" the feet to the left while the knees are still bent ...before push up.

@@finleyvaughn5862 thank you for your comment. When you watch a lot of great players, their feet will move as they turn and push, some even leave the ground. I'll make a video on this soon. Thank you, Marty

Harold Pohoresky you could use it driver but would need more tilt to the side. Thank you for your comment.
