In case you actually don't understand it here's a quick explanation using your own example. Let's say you own a business that can be valued at $5, and you make $2-3 in revenue. You think you can make more from the market if you expand your business further. So you approach a rich old man asking for help and he says, "I'll give you $10 today to own 10% of your company." If your prediction is correct, you are able to use the $10 cash injection to grow your revenue to $9 to $10 dollars a year and growing, and your company valuation goes up from the initial $5 to roughly $17. The old man makes money back on his capital eventually, and it may be $11 or more (definitely more if successful) and you make bank as well.

4:01 the oxygen cans are for high elevation climbing/hiking etc. we had one on hand at the continental divide in Colorado and it was genuinely insanely helpful. Also in the Rockies here. Agreed, I see these literally everywhere, and the first time I visited here from my low altitude home state, I genuinely felt like I would have died on a hike if my friend who I was visiting didn’t have a couple of these on her at the time. I never would have thought about buying canned air, but I pretty much always try to make room for one of these every time I do anything physical in the mountains. They’re honestly a game changer when you’re gassed at super high altitudes.

The blue LEDs can be expensive. Specifically the ones the company sells have to drive the blue LEDs pretty hard to get the correct spectrum intensity to sunlight. When Soraa was making the first retail full spectrum lights like the MR15s for ex. They had to fit in the same form factor as the retail lights but with them being driven so hard and only passive cooling they would sometimes burn out in a few years. The lights were so good that the retailers would just buy more since at the time there were no others on the market like it. If the ones they sell don't burn out like that and can be used on a retail or workplace scale then they would be set. Idk why the company is going for such niche marketing when in general the lighting industry is a huge market.
@Queen_Cnidarian
Ай бұрын
For those curious about what Ciradian Oprics was, the light they sold gives off vitamin D, like the sun. I own a device like it because I live in a place that gets super dark in the winters, do I suffer from a deficiency. These kinds of lights are really only useful for people who live super far north or super far south when it gets dark as anything half the year.
