you have a binder or some kind of book on your shelf with Serra Angel, the Greg Staples artwork. when my friend introduced me to this game, it was this card and this artwork that really enchanted me. It's absolutely beautiful, like something painted on a chapel ceiling. It also led me to make my first deck, Mono-White Angels, it's the only deck that I double sleeved, and blinged out with foils whenever possible. overall it costed me over $250, but I don't regret it one bit. not sure why I'm posting this, but I guess I just wanted to give that piece on your shelf a shoutout, professor.

Great way to get more 3'ed party deck box company's names out there. Never heard of any of these brands when I was shopping for my Deck boxes. Also for the Patreon credits, I would recommend trying to alphabetize them as to make it easier for friends and views/donators to find their names. I would donate if I could and as I was viewing the Patreon credits that were just a thought that crossed my mind. Great channel, I have learned a LOT from it and am quite pleased. Even got a play mat from inked gaming planned out and designed, just waiting for funding. One last note for everyone who plays card games... Do NOT buy Max Protection standard sized double matte Card sleeves. I got a set of those, with 500 clear perfect fit sleeves also from Max Protect, the clear perfect fit sleeves are fairly sturdy, however using the clear sleeves for my Yu-Gi-Oh cards and then double sleeving them into the Max Protect standard sleeve, if not careful, you can ever so easily tear the sides at the opening of the standard sleeve. After sleeving my deck I tore 4 sleeves open in the process, and afterward, I was satisfied with the aesthetics and feel of the sleeves. I let them sit in a tight fitting rigid deck box for 48 hours to do away with air bubbles, and finally, I played with them. Were fine at first, however after about 8-9 accumulative hours of casual gameplay over a few days. I saw major nicks on the sides, sleeve seems bursting in the middle and corners noticeably bent and creased, my roommate being an Offical tournament judge for Konami looked at these and told me that If I was at a tournament and a Judge walked past my table, with just a glance I would have been flagged for marked cards if my opponent didn't call it out first. It was terrible. After another hour my sleeves started tearing from the top down to the middle creating a flap in the clear film, and 13 sleeves were ruined in a similar fashion. I switched back to the Ultra pro sleeves to which I had longer and are still using and not anywhere remotely damaged. My friend has been using the same ultra pro sleeves for four years, avidly playing and going to tournaments and his sleeves are still undamaged from gameplay and are all still tournament legal. Sorry for my long story, just REALLY, don't want people to pay for 50 Max Protect standard sleeves that literally last a few hours when for the same price you can get 100 Ultra Pro sleeves that can potentially last you years. If possible spread the news, really don't want people to throw money down the drain as I did, and hopefully in the future they will improve on their product. Love this channe, keep up the great work! I love learning new things.

My LGS has SEER on sale for the holidays, and some older stock in clearance for $18.99. I LOVE this box for certain decks, I still prefer the Satin Tower for commander, but any of my non-commander decks fit perfect in the SEER and it is really tough. The magnet thing? Your missing one magnet issue I think was really altering your test as I have never had such an issue with the lid coming off. I think also, if for some reason someone did have that magnet pop out, 2 drips of loctite super glue and let it sit overnight with the lid off would patch that up for pennies. I also wanted to mention about the SEER, you left off one part of the deck box, the deck box comes in it's own box. And while you could view it as just packaging for retail, look closer. That box is fully overlapped when you close it(slide the top over the bottom) and inside the box is padded on the sides and has a padded insert for atop the deck box also. Fancy packaging? Or additional layer of padded protection for a very pricy deck? And let's face it, you aren't buying a SEER to put your $40 lulz league deck into. (well I might now I can buy 5 of these for $100 right now lol) Also, as a note in general and perhaps you may wish to look at a product or products like this..... I have made enough decks now I find it cumbersome to put dice or counters with each deck at this point. i started that way, thought it would be nice to do to have a self sustained deck in a way, but i have found it is just easier to have a set of tools I bring that work with every deck. I use the super excellent life counter from my Commander Anthology(can buy on amazon now) instead of spin downs. I found some very nice colored +1/+1(-1/-1 on flip side) metal counter tokens on amazon, and a few other knick-knacks for certain game mechanics. I keep my counters in this velvet bag I got with a collector edition playstation game I got years ago, my life counter has a little container with some art on it, etc. I keep all of this in it's own container(mine has a dragon theme to it) and so whichever deck I bring or play I have the needed tools at my side. To each their own, but I find this universal tool kit more customizable and handy then trying to fit each deck with it's own. In the end, it is a space saver also. I recommend you look into these products and try them also Prof.

with the Leifkicker box, you didn't mention the effect the light had, if any, on the cards. How warm does it get when left on? If left on for long periods of time with cards inside would that perhaps damage the cards, from heat? What about fire hazards? I actually really liked the look of the interior and I think that bubble look is just part of working with the acrylic medium. I liked it because it looks kind of dirty/shabby. So that aesthetic may just be your preference that not everyone will see as a drawback. I love the idea of having a night light deckbox, that I could have on my bedside table while I sleep, or as a soft glow in my library or lounge when I'm getting a midnight snack. I think having a light is such a cool idea, but it is disappointing that having cards inside the deckbox stops the light from fully showing. The idea of storing cards inside a light, something that is functional, is a very cool idea to me. 'Do we really need another deck box?' 'well... it's a light too, we could put it in the nursery as a night-light!'

He actually had a prototype through some freak bit of poor luck. Before we started pressing them in, we bonded them so we could get some prototypes around the country before choosing a final design. Unfortunately, the vendor at the Orlando GP didn't dispose of his prototypes in October as he was supposed to, and added the low-qual product to the queue. I assure you that if there is EVER a manufacturing flaw in any purchase, we will replace the faulty box at Boxgods.com It i why we keep the URL on the bottom of the lid.

The windows are designed to pop as opposed to Shattering, but they still require a good deal of force to do so. It takes about 6 minutes to laser cut those parts, the laser engraving is about 5-10 more give or take, and I'll grant you 10 minutes for finishing (you can see the glue overflow inside the box, are damp rags at a premium these days or something?). The plans for said box are literally free on thingiverse, the material is about $9-40 for a 4' x 8' sheet, from which you can make a couple dozen boxes. The cost of the laser cutter ranges from $1800-4000 (hobby level). I make and sell these boxes for $5 each (and custom engrave the deck name/type/players name/whatever), $40 for this is absolutely fucktardedly overpriced as to be comical. I'm in the wrong business apparently.
