The first few practise questions are not decimals - just skip those if you want to get to the decimals.
This is a method for multiplying called Napier's bones. It's a great way to multiply any numbers together but really comes into it's own when multpilying decimals. It is hands down the best method I've come across for this in terms of being able to do it consistently, and quickly without making mistakes.
It's a bit hard to explain here but I think is pretty easy when you see the examples in the video.
