"Pens for her" reminds me of a story. I have a friend who works at Home Depot, and once a woman asked him for help finding the hammers. So he took her to the section, and pointed out the hammer he thought was best. She looked at him like he was an idiot, and asked how she was supposed to use that? He was a bit confused, and asked for clarification. She sighed, and said she needed a hammer for women. He was still kind of confused, and suggested a smaller hammer as a possibility. She started getting annoyed, because it still wasn't a women's hammer. He called his manager over on the radio and asked for an assist, told the woman his manager would be over to help, and then walked away and took his lunch break.

My brother and I, at the time of the colored ketchup craze, were old enough to have paper delivery jobs, so we each agreed to buy a purple and green ketchup to try it out. It seemed so exciting, but the problem was...well, they were green and purple. Once was fun, but after that, it was just too hard to get past the fact that something that smelled and tasted identical to the red ketchup was purple or green. It made it "all wrong". XD So after a few more tries we gave up. The novelty was gone. Our parents tried it once each, and refused after that. They couldn't get past the color or the idea that anything that makes meat green (like putting it on a burger) makes it appetizing, when green on meat usually means rancid. The purple one fared a bit better, but in the end, not even half the ketchups were used. And that's our story of the colored ketchup.

in defence of the the "drill" Charlie was talking about. It is likely an elektrik screwdriver, which would explain the low torque as it is not supposed to have much.

I’m so glad others have good memories of the EZ Squirt ketchup. I loved that stuff as a kid. There was also Fun Squeeze that had blue and pink butter. Those were such bangers

Oreos and Kit-kats make crazy flavors for multiple reasons. 1st: other nations actually like some of them and they become mainstays there. 2nd: In America they drive consumers to buy the original flavor as a "nostalgia" hit.

My Father loved the EZ squirt apparently. I hear from my Mom that he was genuinely upset that it got discontinued. Even though the first time he had brightly colored shit he panicked and thought he was dying, he loved it. I will never understand that man.

the ez squirt was actually the exact opposite of a failed product "We knew we had a good idea on our hands. Otherwise, wewouldn't have launched it," said Brendan Foley, general manager ofglobal condiments and sauces for Heinz. "But the momentum itbuilt, the frenzy we saw, I don't know we expected that." "The novelty condiment was so enthusiastically embraced by kids that the company scrambled to fulfill demand. A year’s worth of orders were sold in the first few months."

Shrek was released when the green bottle came out, I think that has to do with sales. If I am correct, they also put Donkey on the purple bottle.
