In case you're interested, their recent concert in France was filmed by a guy named Vladimir Chupin. They're on KZitem and really high quality. Although he did mention that the mix was kind of weird, but it's worth checking out their new track The Titan. It has vocals as well, but it seems like a more balanced approach between shredding and singing for their fans.

Yeah, my favourite album of theirs is the fully instrumental Guernica+a, and my second favourite is the mostly instrumental Planet of Metal, but I strongly disagree with those who think they are somehow "selling out" by incorporating vocals. The only issue is their current limitations as vocalists. Having been to the three shows they did in Marseille earlier this year, that's not much of an issue if you're actually in the same room/hall as them: I honestly didn't notice the vocals being a weakness, in contrast to listening to fancams of their live performances. But it's going to affect how they are regarded by people who haven't seen them live.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I'm optimistic that they'll start to use the vocals in more unique ways, not exactly Frampton and his talkbox, but hoepfully a more modern spin on that kind of thing? Bridge the gap a bit between the two worlds?

There's some very recent footage (14th July) of them at the Japan Expo in Paris. It was filmed by Vladimir Chupin, who has filmed many Band-Maid gigs through Europe and elsewhere over the years. Try their opener, BLAZE, kzitem.info/news/bejne/u2xmmod4nJuHhmUsi=s-tjI7ENQnlVLect
