Liberalism is symptom, cause is bida, solution is Sunna! in 1680 Uthmanis were at peak but exiled salafis & then sufi bida divided until they were sick man of europe, infiltrated by tyt to secularism, while Salafis build a sharia nation, Saud in laws are Bani Tamim, in hadith hard on dajjal! Quran 24:55 ties Tawhid to safety! Even today Salafi lands despite flaws are safe, while in sufi and shi'a high grave worship lands get colonized. We must worship Allah alone and learn Manhaj Salaf, to build our din as thats what pillars do! Our 5 pillars are outward symbols that refute the other religions, like in bible Ibrahim and Jesus did Sujud, Israel built a kaba in genesis 28, Isaiah 6 :6 they kissed stones for forgiveness etc. Even in hinduism, the final avatar Khalki is Narashamsa or praiseworhty which translates to Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him and describes him uniquely as born in sanctuary or haram and went above the heavens like miraj and received revelation in a cave like surah Alaq etc. 6 pillars of Iman to guide other Muslim sects! Like Asharis error on Allah's Sifat, all 4 mathhabs and 6 hadith imams were Athari. Ashari errors opened sufi errors in hadith dreams to think they can change and divide the religion away from Quran and Sunnah! & lead to sufi grave worship similar to the shi'a who deny the Sahab or Quran they compiled! 5 pillars of sharia to guide society as physical proof for the liberals! 1. din - atheism built 0 civilizations! Allah made us needy pairs (Quran 36 :36) to show He is 1, ( Quran 112 :1) and not 3 or more. 2. Life - Eat halal and tyyib and do wudu! Ibn Taymiyyah said all deviant groups including karijis have non Muslims behind them, today is no different. cia backed iran in 79 who took in exiled alquida! 3. Mind - Islam is preserved and teaches to verify info. Even Sci-ence method is based on. 4. Family - ppl aren't born Qom Lot, Modesty and nikah are basis of society, we learn Taqwa and modesty in Ramadan! 5. Money - Zakat balances wealth, we don't squander it, Quran 2 :275 etc.

This issue has been stressing me for a while, in the way that it should be addressed, till i heard your argument Paul, if someone wants to be an LGBQT , they're free to do that , without forcing it onto Islam, and without calling them selves a Moslem. If someone is a Moslem, he or she should know better that Allah forbids it (except a few cases of pathological origin ) , and if he or she is an actual believer in Allah , they should obey his orders, and abstain from the things he forbids, and not to try to customize Islam to fit their minds and lusts.
@robd8457
2 жыл бұрын
Can i ask, what did you mean by 'pathological origin'?
@Doctor_Raad
2 жыл бұрын
@@robd8457 the sexuality of the person is determined by the presence of fully functional sex organs ; which are the testicles and the penis in males , the ovaries , uterus, vagina in females , in some cases these organs are not present congenitally ,in other cases some individuals might have both male and famale organs , other cases the sexual organs are present but are not completely developed and functioning, causing the sexual character not to be present , so according to each individual case , a treatment approach is considered , for example in the case where both sexual organs are present , on of them is selected and enhanced by hormones or by syrgical procedures . Thats what i meant by "cases of pathological orogin", Islam is tolerant to these cases. Islam is not tolerant on the other hand to persons who would like to choose their sexuality or their sexual preferences ,just because they're free to do it ,or because they want to do that . Having said that , the mind set or psycocgical causes of prefering one sexuality over the other, is not a real cause to name one's self a female or male , wether the person had a trauma in his child hood , was abused , have been raised by a narcissistic mother or having seen the father malest the mother and children leading to a psycological trauma on them , all these are not considered justified pathological causes of abberant sexual behaviour . If psycological trauma would justify changing sexuality or prefering one sex over the other , then it would justify becoming a serial killer,a paedophile or an anti social psychopath. Going that way in allowing the freedom of choosing one's sex and sexual preferences is merely a step away from aquitting rapists , heartless sexual predetors or paedophiles ,on bases of sexual freedom.

"Christianity in the West is secular humanism with a religious veneer." True. Every Christian doctrine is negotiable, every progressive fashion is inviolable. Religion is a silly little hobby you do on the side, but when it comes to the serious matters pertaining to ordering society and government, one dispenses with the purely private pass-time of faith and assumes the only credible and acceptable outlook, which is secular, managerial liberalism, of course. Who'd a thunk it. The people who run the system say the only acceptable mode of running it is theirs.

He pleaded, “O my people! Here are my daughters1 ˹for marriage˺-they are pure for you. So fear Allah, and do not humiliate me by disrespecting my guests. Is there not ˹even˺ a single right-minded man among you?” They argued, “You certainly know that we have no need for your daughters. You already know what we desire!”

So we said, “O Messenger of Allah! It is as though this is a farewell sermon, so counsel us.” He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “I counsel you to have taqwa (fear) of Allah, and to listen and obey [your leader], even if a slave were to become your ameer. Verily he among you who lives long will see great controversy, so you must keep to my Sunnah and to the Sunnah of the Khulafa ar-Rashideen (the rightly guided caliphs), those who guide to the right way. I actually have deep thoughts about this issue long time ago (not just lgbtq), but tolerance in general. Tolerance is like freedom and order game, it is paradoxical and cannot be solved. If we tolerate one thing, then we can tolerate many things and in the end we tolerate everything and the norm changes. But if we become intolerant to some thing, some minority of people would feel tormented by it, some will rebel, speak out and demonize the system or worst try to change the world view. But, the beauty answer i got is that for a long time in my country Indonesia. Somehow both Muslims and LGBTQ/Muslim LGBTQ tolerated one another, the lgbtq never tried to disturb our sacred law and we tolerate them as long as they didn't show any public indicency. However, evil is the cost of freedom and it shows.

This is the historical reality in Muslim societies. Nobody bothered the lgbtq communities, they were left alone. This was the prevailing wisdom since one does not seek out the faults of others and this was a private matter. But they were certainly not given a platform, nor was there any doubt that their practice was not normative, or acceptable morally, nor could this behavior be exhibited publicly. Muslims understood at one time, that open defiance of Gods law was far more serious, spiritually and socially than private non-conformance, and that opportunity to return to the path from deviation was the right of every person that was private in their error.

Interesting arguments on a very heated topic. Personally, I have struggled with this issue. But my one insert would be that when the discourse on these issues are discussed, it's always discussed at a broader level, be it politically, morally, human rights, etc, which I get because that's how it's being promoted in the mainstream. But I would love a discussion more on an individual level, where we discuss with a more sensitive and empathetic ear with individuals who are struggling with their sexuality/identity and their religion. Like we need a space to support these individuals in a way that does not go against our religion because we can no longer deny that there are religious people who are afflicted in this way, naturally not by being either brainwashed, 'possessed' or any other ludicrous reason. Also I feel like we need to separate our disdain for the act and the individual. Because I see alot of people within my community, life, the broader Muslim community be disgusted with the person itself who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community... some go as far as to commit violence against them.

Jonathon AC Brown gets called out a lot. But I saw him on Mohammed Hijab's podcast explaining his stance in detail. I started that podcast ready to disagree with him but then felt myself sort of turning around as he was speaking. He definitely wasn't saying that Muslims should embrace homosexuality and that we should march at gay pride parades. He said 100% that homosexuality and homosexual acts are forbidden in Islam. And he wasn't advocating for spreading gay rights in the Muslim world. But he made the point that in a secular, non muslim society like the United States, that it is better to support a pluralist system because opposing limitations on one group can lead to limitations opposed upon Muslims. For example, in Islam a man is allowed to have 4 wives. Marriage isn't necessarily between one man and one woman in an Islamic standpoint. So if the government imposes that law it will also impact some Muslims. That was his point. Not to fight for gay rights or to champion homosexuals, but to simply allow in certain circumstances like living in the US or Europe I suppose, the rights to be there because it also impacts the rights of Muslims.

Are you kidding me? That is a sweet promise to make you comply. France is a good example. Their LGBT rights is described as most progressive in the world . And they pride themselves of free speeches. "Je suis Charlie" become famous when defending Charlie Hebdo's right to mock the Prophet. When comes to Muslims, Hijab are banned in certain public spaces, Mosques are shut down because of speeches they deemed inappropriate, condemning homosexuals to be exact. You are free to mock the Prophet but you cannot condemn homosexuals. This sweet promises of by supporting pluralist society meaning we are doing Muslims a favor is a hoax, a scam. The prophet is right about the Dajjal when in one hadith, he said "By Allah, a man will go to him considering himself a believer, but will instead follow him because of doubts he will present.” Brother, you easily got turn by Jonathan AC Brown, I cannot imagine if it was the false Messiah himself preaching to you. The false Messiah, according to another hadith will come with fire and water, in another hadith, heaven and hell. What appears as fire or hell, it is actually water and heaven. And what appears as water or heaven, is actually fire and hell. May Allah saves us from fitna of the Dajjal. Stay steadfast to the religion. What the Messenger of God forbids, there are no two way about it. LGBT is wrong. There is no "better to support pluralist society" argument. It is a hoax, a scam, a sweet promises.

I like Dr. Browns scholar article about Hadith and History. But I watched this video, he was confused and saying conflicting things as if he was Schizophrenic, One character is an honest devote Muslim, the other one was abiding to the liberal narrative, he was trying hopelessly to resolve this conflict with Dr. Shadee and M. Hijab, his way to resolve it was to say it is a political position not a fatwa, which is basically calling for secularism i.e separating your faith based morals from the public sphere or actions.. it is like we are running in circles. We are not supposed to take a passive position towards anything Allah said it's wrong, and definitely never advocate for a law that we know it facilitate الفاحشة this is literally secularism. Also, like @Nizam said... pluralist society is accepted under the umbrella of Liberalism, Like your culture (religion) needs to be liberalized to be accepted. the only way for Islam to survive this is to practice self censorship, self secularization if not enforced by the laws like France and soon the rest of Europe.

Marriage or Nikah is referring to tying between man and woman. Although I may agree that muslim is kind of minority in a Western world, allowing gay into solemn commitment of marriage (within/relating to Muslims) is something unacceptable at community and personal level. It is scribed in al Quran about the number of female that may be tied to a man. But it is not there regarding for a rightful same sex marriage. If non-muslim wanted to do that in their country, basically muslims do not follow celebrate it, let alone allow it happens in minority muslims community. Just my 2 cents.

So before seeking to sit in a gathering, have you asked yourself: - Is this person known to the scholars or their students? - Does he have tazkiyāt of any sort? - Who are his companions (from whom does he sit with)? - Does he frequent the gatherings of Ahl al-Sunnah, their masājid, seminars, lectures etc.? - What do the people of Sunnah and Salafīyyah in his area say about him? - Does he cooperate with Ahl al-Bidʿah,, their masājid and programmes (is he here, there and everywhere)? Do you put up these roadblocks in your mind before setting out to seek knowledge with a man? Seeing that it is from the most important affairs you could ever set out upon…your salvation, your ʿaqīdah, your path towards Paradise in shāʾ Allāh. Shaykh Aḥmad Bazmūl states: ‘This is how important this is, this knowledge is dīn, something that he will be raised with on the day of judgment…the Muslim must look and take his dīn from Ahl al-Sunnah, al-Salafīyyūn, known for knowledge, being upright and having taqwá’

Listen. The arguments that are proposed to tell people to adhere to Islamic values over liberal ones (lgbt) are not expressed holistically. Therefore, they’re not compelling. This needs to be worked on because for children and those still in school, the arguments need to be compelling. There’s no reason for these arguments not to be holistic. When explained step by step in no more than 7 steps I believe that it can reach both younger audiences and older. This needs to be considered

One can identify as being a thief but cannot act upon that instinct since its forbidden. The Quran states that you MUST change what is within you before you expect change outside of you: personal responsibility. In a Hadith: if you have not changed a little every day, you have not lived. (Both rough paraphrases) Also, if a person cannot afford to get married, one must fast. Action. Action. Change. Change. God created human beings giving them honorable status as distinct from animals. God expects us to live up to that honor and the Quran tells us life on earth is an uphill struggle. So lets not excuse ourselves from that obligation.

Here's my two cents: Hope u read this paul and may allah help u in dealing with ur urges and live out a complete & fulfling life. The prophet lut explicitly told his people that this act is just not right. But in my opinion at least if someone has developed such urges that does not mean he lose hope of allah's mercy. Just recognizing that the act is wrong and avoiding the act to the best of ur abilities is required. ... If i may suggest this, even in ur age marrying a widow or a divorcé can help support her (and possibly her kids) while giving u companionship as well. And despite ur orientation u could still procreate and pass on ur genetic legacy. That is something u might want to consider. As for the nature of ur urges, any effort to subdue them would probably be more psychological than spiritual. Also imo trying too hard can often have the inverse effect but at least a certain amount of effort might gradually turn out to be helpful in reassesing ur desires. Again best of luck and may allah help u

It’s interesting people can lose their job over the values of their faith… religion should also be protected & so as long as they aren’t going out of their way to bully anyone for their lifestyle, their job should be protected in terms of religion just as it is for The LBGT community… we could turn around in that workplace & say well then do you not support the religion(?) & they probably wouldn’t but would they lose their job over it? No because diversity in thought/values/lifestyle/sexuality/religion are all protected in the workplace so I think it’s appalling that someone can lose their job over having different values… their religion should be just as protected as anyone’s sexuality, it’s a workplace & we should focus on the work not these matters imo.

Once again, a very thought-provoking talk. Thank you. Do you agree that American society has concluded that the ethics, morals and rules of behavior to be applied are best based on democratic principles? Various religious beliefs of right and wrong are vigorously put forward during their democratic rulemaking. It's true that basic to democratic ethics, almost by definition, is that each individual's view is equal in value to another's; a principle closely related to the egalitarian Christian notion of treating others as you would have them treat you. If gay rights (or other measures) are adopted through a democratic process, then it is ethical as defined by that democratic society. Individuals and groups and religions may hold adopted measures as unethical and may and should (and do) campaign for their points of view. But until overturned they are defined democratically as ethical. I'm not sure that I agree that exporting this American egalitarian principle is a malicious assault. Americans, I think, would see it as participating in a debate, as democrats, not necessarily just Christians, do.

I get what you're saying, though I find it hard to believe that the US comes from a position of debate. For as long as its been a world power it has seen itself as the arbiter of values, even when they didn't get it 'right' in the past. It well and good to come from a stance of debate on the matter, and in theory its that simple. But when you apply in reality the political power they have and have had in these countries, its hard not to see it as authoritive. Had the US adopted a different view, it would have pushed that on the rest of the world just as it has done before, with devastating effect. I like your analogy of debate, and i actually think that should be a precursor to determine whether ideas would or should be accepted in another society. I'm none the wiser as to whether this already exists but it sounds good to sort of clash heads with representatives of each country on whether the idea being pushed is even going to fly. Its slightly counter democratic however, but not ever country is as democratic as the US

In Saudi, Middle east in general, India, Africa, Indonesia, Malasia and everywhere outside the west, the Muslims know without any doubt that this is haram. The students of knowledge in the west had to address this since it is more needed to be addressed in the West where Muslims are literally claiming that they don't think it is haram. Having read his article, which in places reads no better than the sound bites which Muslims in the UK were exposed to from groups like Hizb at tahreer or al muhajiroon, and contains the same rubbish about sexual relationships with concubines, his main point is that homosexual relationships [physical intimacy] are a sin. No one is denying that. But as Muslims, we are a minority in the UK or the USA. You are likely to meet someone at work who is gay and in some sort of relationship. The question is, how do you deal with it. I myself have just decided that I will be professional and not cause any friction. I do not seek freindships with members of the gay community, but neither do I spend time hating them. Muslims may be surprised to hear the Ottoman empire actualy decriminalised homosexuality and neither does the Qur'aan proscribe the death sentence.

And [lawful in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers (ie Muslim ) and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture (ie Christian and Jew) before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers. And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless and he in the Hereafter will be among the losers.'' Note: > Only < Islam allows interfaith marriages (>14 hundredsSame God< but They are >ALL Corrupt< more or less, some more than others from their original foundational teaching. The older religion are MORE corrupted than newer religion. Question to Muslim and Christian: Does God / Allah only answer your pray ? And God / Allah does not answer non Muslim / non Christian pray? Did Allah '' Canceled '' all other religions Judaism and Christianity? Quran 5:48 '' And We have revealed to you [O Muhammad] the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture ( ie New and old Testament ) and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. >>>TO EACH OF YOU WE PRESCRIBED A LAW AND A METHODone nation>differ qualified < for to enter Paradise ) On the day of judgement God will ''NOT'' judge humanity bases on Sunni Muslim sect VS Shia Muslim sect ''NOR'' by Muslim VS non-Muslim >but< Doer of Goods VS Doer of Evils. '' YOUR " birth in the Muslim's family is NOT a > qualification < for to enter the Paradise. '' YOUR " religion / sect / foot long beard is NOT a > qualification < for to enter the Paradise. The > qualification < to enter Paradise is > Faith in God and Good Work
