Ingredients for the marinade
Boneless chicken chunks - 500 g
Thick curd- 1/4 cup
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Freshly ground ginger garlic paste - 2tbsp
Tomato paste - 2 tbsp
Black pepper powder - 1tsp
Red chilli powder - 1.5 tsp
Salt - 2 tsp
Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
Oregano - 1 tsp
Oil for cooking - approx.2 tbsp
Method
• Wash and drain the chicken completely.
• Add all the ingredients mentioned above to the chicken pieces.
• Mix it well and marinate for at least 4 to 5 hours.
• Thread the chicken pieces on the skewers.
• Also thread onion chunks with the chicken for the flavour.
• Put 1 tbsp oil into a grill pan.
• Heat the pan on medium high flame.
• Put the chicken with the skewers in the pan
• Grill the chicken on medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes.
• Brush oil as required while cooking.
• Once the chicken is done, you can enjoy it right away or relish by making pita sandwiches with garlic dip and veggies of your choice.
