Constructive criticism is extremely important and i truly believe you are mature enough to appreciate some..i am a Canadian and hearing you say that you dont care about canadian geography while you are travaling through canadian geography is kinda off-putting..while you are American and will be living in Alaska, we still are your closest neighbour and respect would be appreciated. I didn't find his comment disrespectful toward Canada or Canadians. He's just excited and wants to get his destination unfortunately if we want to drive to Alaska which is part of the United States we have no choice but to be forced to drive through Canada. Just because United States and Canada are neighboring countries doesn't mean we all have to like the same things and appreciate the same things. So my constructive criticism for you is.... don't be "offended" when none was "intended"

Pretty much where ever I've been, the people have always been good. I've slept under the stars and when it's cold it's cold -- colors of the rocks really don't matter much -- it's being able to throw more wood in the fire that makes sleeping worthwhile -- and knowing there's gonna be fresh black coffee when I get all the way to the end !! Eventually when you want to spend the time and get a better sound track, there is indeed a way to get rid of background noise tho you may not want to get rid of most nature sounds, wind noise is not terribly good for setting a mood lol! Don't know what editor you use and if it can use plugins, but there is a plug from Waves that is called clarity and it will remove anything that is not the human voice, and if you would like to just reduce the noise but not totally remove it, it does that too. It is unbelievable. I wish I had discovered it sooner than I did. It seemed that every time I made one of my wood videos and was doing a narration, that's when the neighbor would mow his lawn lol! But after getting that plugin, It has solved a ton of problems. But my wood channel was just a minor channel, my real vids are music vids so not as necessary for them, tho when I do my talks I do use it to "clarify" the vocal. Just a suggestion. Love your content so far tho. That scenery up there is incredible!

To be truly challenging, a voyage, like a life, must rest on a firm foundation of financial unrest. Otherwise, you are doomed to a routine traverse, the kind known to yachtsmen who play with their boats at sea... "cruising" it is called. Voyaging belongs to seamen, and to the wanderers of the world who cannot, or will not, fit in. If you are contemplating a voyage and you have the means, abandon the venture until your fortunes change. Only then will you know what the sea is all about. "I've always wanted to sail to the south seas, but I can't afford it." What these men can't afford is not to go. They are enmeshed in the cancerous discipline of "security." And in the worship of security we fling our lives beneath the wheels of routine - and before we know it our lives are gone. What does a man need - really need? A few pounds of food each day, heat and shelter, six feet to lie down in - and some form of working activity that will yield a sense of accomplishment. That's all - in the material sense, and we know it. But we are brainwashed by our economic system until we end up in a tomb beneath a pyramid of time payments, mortgages, preposterous gadgetry, playthings that divert our attention for the sheer idiocy of the charade. The years thunder by, The dreams of youth grow dim where they lie caked in dust on the shelves of patience. Before we know it, the tomb is sealed. Where, then, lies the answer? In choice. Which shall it be: bankruptcy of purse or bankruptcy of life?- Sterling Hayden, Wanderer
