I have the silver model with the OLED panel, i7-9750H, and 2070 Max-Q. I also experience the occasional, random screen flicker. I mainly notice it on areas that are showing a black or dark grey color. For me it is fairly minor, as I didn't notice it until almost a week into using it. Also, I've not experienced any wifi issues on any network. I've tried my home network, my friend's home network, my college's wifi, and the guest wifi at my work without any issues. Also, a side note for anyone who cares: I have a 160mV undervolt (-0.160V) running stably on mine (specs above). on judging how good a monitor is for content creation, I would really wish we move beyond color space coverage...what is really more important, is the deltaE, that is, the color accuracy. Ok so first of all I love the quality of your videos. You have a very nice voice, and you speak clear for someone's like me, who is pretty bad at English. But, honestly, in every of your videos I have the feeling you never focus on the important points of the products. No flame intended. Just what I feel. You talk a lot about the camera which, honestly, most ppl don't care. A poweruser who will buy this kind of laptop also got a good phone, that sounds logical. Try to beat a note 10+ for visio with a laptop. None will. Every laptop has horrible camera. It's just if for some cosmic reason you can't use your phone or a real camera, which cost barely nothing today. Same for hp and other things. Most of your review seems to give negative thoughts on this laptop which get very good reviews everywhere else. I receive mine tomorrow (4k oled i7 10 gen 16 Go I will up to 32.) I made this choice after studying a lot all the possibilities, including XPS, Zenbook Pro etc etc. I will be fixed soon. But i regret you seem to focus a lot on things that doesn't matter on a poweruser who will purchase such beast. Anyway, thanks a lot for the review.

@@chiefdog6909 It was a wonderful laptop, I upgraded the ram to 64 and added another Nvme, everything worked wonderfully, not even a single problem or crash. I did sell it one week ago for a M1 Mac tho.. The things that made me change for apple ? Apple was doing horribly for the last 10 years ( I am sorry but my aero was better than any intel mbp and I tested it, it is NOT a simple opinion, its a fact) but apple regain his noble letters by making his own cpu/gpu again, and its incredible (4* more battery. time, silent, powerfull and yet affordable, apple first good product since 5+ years). But I have nothing to say about the aero vs other intel laptop : its the best I ever had and he was destroying any competition in that regard. Its my opinion, but I still think camera and speakers and even trackpad (with is absolutely excellent on the aero) are the least important things on a laptop. What is important then ? the rest. The raw power, the screen, the keyboard, the ports (which are horrendous on the mbp btw, but its the only real flaw). Which is why I didn't like this review at all, when you buy such machine you care important things for your workflow imho. If you stick with window and don't care a lot of fan noise (or use a noise cancelation buds on a daily basis ) this Is a wonderful machine with a screen to die for. Because on window side, I never tried or had any better, even the Dell XPS series. I definitely miss a lot of things on my mbp M1 like the rbg key per key and the numbers key. He'll even the keyboard itself was better on the aero than the magic keyboard. The key travel and feeling and sound was just better. The screen of the mbp is no match for the incredible 4k oled. But... But If you unplug the aero it basically lose half of his raw power ( especially in 3d) , it makes a lot of noise and the battery time is so low ). If you : Plug your laptop all the time Don't care about noise Are a window user You simply won't find any better creativity laptop imho, and I owned and tried a shit load. @@anhipham Mmm no, I change it every time. I believe is a bug from Windows when you are connected with your Microsoft account. there is probably not a big difference. 1440p Displays consume less power and you get more fps. But manufacturers nowadays only use 1080p or 4k

@xxzmk
5 жыл бұрын
@@ZillionPrey no it can have 2 batteries there is a additional slot for a smaller extra battery. the downside of that is that you are loading up one battery at once and its always loading the one which has less capacity. pretty bad tho that the batteries of a t420s dont last long anyways. i head people buying a new one which has 5,5 hours use time and after a year they still fall to the spot of only 1 hour and sometimes even less. The biggest problem is, i love my notebook for its best design of keyboard and its comfortable use. Unfortunately i cant buy a another notebook right now and all of the used ones have always very bad keyboards and bad hardware such as ugly designs even tho it is very easy to make a notebook look good. best example thinkpads.

You dont.....Just paid $2195 for the Aero 9750H/16GB/512GB/4K OLED/RTX2060. For me, I didnt need the 2070 or the 2080, and I've read about too many thermal nightmares with the i9 options in just about all manufacturers "thin, powerful and light" chassis. Keyboard? Per key RGB....good response. Camera? Sucks, especially the location, otherwise all the laptop cameras suck, and I always use an external. Wifi? No issues with my unit. Burn in? Not worried, since I've come from the plasma days. Build quality? I think its excellent, and the hinges/wobble really is not an issue for my use. Do I play esports games in competition where 240hz may be an advantage? Nope. Gorgeous picture? Oh, YEAH! Upgradability? Easy! No upside down motherboard crap ( thanks, MSI.) Ports a plenty? Yep! even an SD card slot. This model is everything I have been looking for in a 15" laptop for about 6-8 months. Will it work for you? Perhaps. AS always, shop carefully. You might want to check out JarrodsTech review as well, where he actually puts it though it's paces...that is if you're looking seriously at the Aero models.

Do you think the wifi drops because that heatpipe runs so close to it and it causes the wifi to throttle? I had a ethernet switch sitting on top of my PS4 that would fail due to the heat and it took me a while to figure out what was going on.
