Sadly, dear Ronnie Barker - who played the socially awkward customer in the 'Four Candles' sketch, decades earlier - passed away in 2005. In this 'sequel' sketch, Ronnie Corbett - who was the original irate shop keeper in 'Four Candles' - is playing the customer with the frozen blackberry. Behind the counter is Harry Enfield. The genius of the writing is certainly comparable with the earlier sketch. Love the booting of the apple! Btw: "That's a raspberry!" - Nope! Definitely a blackberry!

In the true spirit of _The Two Ronnies,_ who were known for their sketches using word-play (mostly written by Ronnie B under his _Gerald Wiley_ pseudonym). This rather poignant one-off sketch show was called _The One Ronnie,_ after Ronnie B had sadly died. A load of modern comedians partnered with Ronnie C for this special event in a series of short sketches. The Blackberry sketch is lovely and very well written. It reminds many of us who knew and loved the Two Ronnies, of what we miss. (Ronnie C has himself died since this was recorded). For vintage Two Ronnies, check out the Optician sketch (on Dailymotion only iirc) Crossed Lines, and the Mastermind sketch, though some of the references may be a little old (or too specifically British) for you in that last one, but all three are _impeccably_ well-written. Enjoy!

It might have been an under-ripe blackberry, rather than a raspberry. About 15 months after this aired, a company released a barebones computer circuit, called Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi boards have proven very popular with nerds, geeks, and tech tinkerers. A dozen or so other companies have emerged over the last decade, offering similar boards. So no in addition to the Raspberry Pi, there is the Orange Pi, and the Banana Pi. There is also the Onion Omega, and Le Potato. The ARM chip at the heart of the board is a RISC processor. ARM grew from the developments made by a company called Acorn (another fruit). It sold 8-bit micros, mainly to schools in the 1980s. Back then there were a few British computer companies with fruit names... Apricot (from 1965), and Tangerine, which sold the Oric 8-bit micro, (mainly to France) .

There is a treasure trove of British comedy from the 1960's to the early 2000's, much of which wouldn't be allowed today because of ridiculous 'political correctness' . Why was it not deemed 'offensive' back then - because no-one told people they should be offended, so they weren't. People were also adult enough to understand the difference between a joke and real, intended offense. It is nice to see so many younger people discovering the comedy from that era, which as others have commented, stands the test of time.
