I was homeless also living off dollar tree. God is always good! When I got paid, I would take my children to the thrift store or dollar tree to get books and toys and it only costed $10. They didn't care! They needed that so they were not too worried living in a van. To cook food, I would take them to the park to play, while I grilled all the meats for the next few days. Kids are happy with simple things. But please never marry a man that is lazy, so you maybe don't have to suffer this like me.

I just leave my tub brush in the shower, so it’s easily accessible. Then, if company comes over I put it away when I tidy up. Even if someone saw it, at least they’d see I’m doing it daily… but in the first 5 min of knowing someone is coming, I empty all the little trash cans into the big one, make sure there’s TP, drinks in the fridge and snacks ready, no dishes, nothing on the counters, spray febreeze/light candles, and put on some ambient background music. We keep board games, magazine, and adult coloring books in the living room. Sometimes people just wanna sit and talk. I like to give them stuff to do with their hands

I've had bad luck with the Dollar Tree mops. Good idea to use a mop to do shower stall walls and tubs with a mop, but it's one item you might want to spend a little more on. The last time I bought one of these from Dollar Tree, it didn't make it through a full floor before the sponge separated from the pad. I do buy the micro fiber and fluffy dusting pads though and use them on my swiffer mops too. They're great.

@@sfr2107 make sure you use a brand with very sharp grating blades. I had to spend much more money than I wanted to, but waited for microplane grater I wanted on Amazon went on sale for under $10. It's so sharp that it makes grating veggies fun! Mine is a dupe brand that looks similar to OXO, but mine also came with a "cutproof" glove and a little brush to dislodge any gratings that cling to the grater. Parmesan cheese is expensive, and I want every shred on my salad or pasta! My son has the OXO brand, which is excellent, but I'm very happy with my knock-off that cost half of the OXO. The handle on the OXO is truly much more comfortable than my knock-off's handle, but I figure that will encourage me to grate less cheese!

Old tooth brush works better at getting around the jets in the tub. Also a good way to clean the inside of the system fill the tub past the jets and put whatever cleaner in the water and then run the jets it will clean it right up

Fill the towel with water past the jets? Will that water overflow once I flush it?

@@hahap2644 oh ok lol. But yeah if you fill the tub past the jets and put some cleaner in the water and let them run it cleans the inside of the system. No it won't over flow cause your just filling past the jets about two inches or so that you can run them.

I put Clorox in the water for a good disinfectant and to kill whatever could be lurking in dark places.

Great idea thanks! I like to use the dollar tree watering cans from their gardening department for cleaning. It has a pointed spout that makes it easy to rinse and clean the nooks of my tub and sink.

OMG! Love this!!! The bathroom is my favorite places to decorate, relax and hide, but cleaning is ongoing and tedious. This makes life so much easier. I'm actually going to pick up tomorrow, on my Dollar Tree run😊
