I adjusted my chain and didn’t align it properly and almost crashed taking an easy corner and hit a tree at 5mph and crushed my nutsack.. and then I eventually got the hang of the oil and small jobs. My ex’s driver side window wouldn’t roll up. I told him to check the lock window button and he continued to tell me that “No it’s the driver side it should still work.” He also wouldn’t let me try the simple task of touching a button. Well after about a week of driving around with a plastic bag over the window we took it to the shop. Not even 10 minutes after we left we get the glorious phone call to say that his lock window button was engaged and the window was fine. That was a good day. On a sidenote you would not believe how many men between the ages of 35 and 45 that do not know how to change a tire, it’s mind blowing to me. My grandfather wouldn’t even let me get my license until I knew how to change a tire, check and change my oil, and a bunch of other small miscellaneous stuff to do with the car. As a woman he said it was dangerous for me to be stuck out on the road somewhere and not know how to fix the situation. I highly suggest everyone learn how to do the small things on a car like change a tire and check your fluids. It’s not just for boys to learn, it may save a girls life.

This is my ex, he's 28. Its actually partly why he's my ex. Expects everyone else to bend backwards for him why never thinking of anyone else unless he was guilted. Id make plans with him for something serious like a doctor's appointment in another city and then I'd find out 30 mins before we leave that his mom or dad booked him some appointment and he cant take me. It's really sad, idk when he'll learn to do things on his own.

So fucking what. They might be socially akward, they may have anxiety when it comes to making phone calls, mental health is real, you don't get to decide that Just because a person looks like an adult that they can function as one or whatever your idea of an adult may be. And I say your idea of one because, for each person adulting may look very different. I mean not everyone grows up or achieves things at a certain, day, time or age. You never know why they aren't yet capable of making and calling for there own appointments, or doing things that you deem to be adult. some people grow up young fast and hard. Some grow up older or never, easy and slow.
