Vitamin d3 is so important. I was suffering for months from anxiety, feeling drained and very emotional. All that changed once I started taking vitamin d3 with coconut oil for maximum absorption. It's best to get the vitamin d3 with k2 if you can. Dosage depends on where you live, how much sun exposure you get and skin tone. If you're white, you don't need a higher dosage but if you're not white, dosage should be higher. Dr Berg on youtube explains it very well and also best to take it in the morning with a meal too. I take the supplement with a tablespoon of organic coconut oil. I hated the taste too at first but hated the symptoms of vitamin d deficiency more lol

A couple months before first lockdown I had not long moved to Bangkok, when lockdown hit I went back to the UK. I remember watching your video from Paris, how you had just arrived, lockdown had hit and you were determined not to go back to the US as you had decided to make Paris your home, and so you were determined to stay. This made me really regret leaving Bangkok - I had chosen it as my home then gave up on it, and I thought about that a lot, your determination was very inspiring. Cue second lockdown and I have not that long moved to Italy - this is now my home! This is were I will stay throughout lockdown. And it was the right choice. I wanted to thank you for being inspiring and look forward to seeing more regular videos from you!

you're a good egg, nathaniel! I recognize the struggle of trying to find yourself, both artistically and "spiritually" (if you will) in the public eye. the internet is a ruthless place a lot of the times and it's hard to navigate when we are given the sole responsibility of creating boundaries - tech companies aren't going to do this for us (they'd rather we just sell our souls). I truly identify with this journey you're on right now - trying to find balance between a more grounded, authentic life off-line but all the while not completely neglecting our times and present circumstance of this cyber space being where most of the conversations are happening right now. I've been confronted with this heavily over the last year as well - trying to figure out where to draw the line, what to share, what to keep sacred for myself... the urge to just disappear online. It's hard. I'm an artist myself (making very personal, anti-establishment work) and have come to these walls where I feel like if I'm not sharing my work I feel like I'm not relevant but it's just such a construct when you really look at it. In the last year or so I'd gained some attention and traction within my "career" but it just started to feel off sharing my work in a way that felt so transnational and fleeting. you're on the right track, hun. it's important to have mentors during these times, so if you do - keep in touch and reach out. one of mine recently shared with me that this urge to just hide under a rock is a beautiful one but that it's ultimately an act of naïveté and rejection of the world, that if we want to feel like our voices are making an outward difference we need to find a way to create force fields for ourselves so that we can more safely engage. i see you doing this and it's so great! remember just how young you are and how much wisdom you have yet to encounter. thank you for this hopeful message. be kind to yourself and check in with your body - it's wild how much of a compass our physiology can be when navigating these spheres. I used to be really oblivious to this, but when I started realizing that my heart rate went up and my breath shortened when I would go onto instagram it really made me reassess how I was interacting with the platform and has allowed me to give myself permission to break that down and really investigate that before I reenter that landscape. best of luck to you, dear. stay vulnerable, stay curious, stay embodied.

Hey Nathaniel, I usually don't comment KZitem videos, but I must admit that I had tears in my eyes just watching this video. As you mentioned your struggle of wether or not to post your happy summer adventures, because it would be sort of unfair to all the people who currently don't have the chance to experience such things right now, i completely understood your struggle because that was something that i thought during summer a lot. On one hand seeing peoples vacation videos on instagram or whatever made me jealous, but on the other hand it made me happy because it reminded me of all the simple joys of life, like for example to sit under a roof of a bus station in the pouring rain in the middle of a bike trip. I also currently try to focus more on myself through meditation and sport and i talk a lot with friends of mine becausei think everyone, young and old, feels this lack of perspective and therefore a bit of hopelessness and thats something terrible because you somehow lose your motivation and your direction. As you mentioned that you've decided to share those images with the world it hit me emotionally and i really encourage you to do so, because i completely agree with you that seeing those little bits of "normal" life reminds us why we do all this and why we have to keep fighting through those hard winter months, so that we hopefully can enjoy all those "normal" things that we took for granted like sitting in a cafe with a friend or having a beer in a bar or visiting friends in other parts of the world. So thank you very very much for sharing your thoughts and by the way (as much as i love your cinematic videos on your main channel) i love your second channel, because the videos are rough and therefore feel very personal and honest, like a little chat with a friend. All the best from locked-down Frankfurt, Erik :)

Glad to see you back! Your point about hope really resonated with me. You are one of the few channels I watch regularly because I'm inspired by watching you interact with life and the world. I'm a senior in high school, and since the quarantine hit in spring, I've also had very little social interaction outside my family. I still don't know if I'll have any senior year in person. Anyway, quarantine and isolation are challenging for me too but I'm so grateful for the space it gave me to reflect on my goals and habits. It's still hard, but I'm happier for it and more content being alone. I've always wanted to live abroad and travel, and your channel really gives me hope for what's possible. So anyway, thanks! hope you have a good winter

Yes! I felt the same about a trip to Brighton just before the second lockdown in the UK. I am extremely lucky to have been able to do so but kind of hid it from everyone, fearing that they would judge me for breaking the rules by leaving my city unnecessarily. I am very glad I went. Fresh sea air was exactly what I missed spending way too much time indoors for the last 9 months. Without a job for all this time, I've been finding it difficult to stay focussed and have hope. Thanks for reminding me that that's at the core of why I (and loads of other people as well) have been finding it so difficult. 🍋
