This is my video on my first year here at the Naval Academy. Unfortunately, Coronavirus led to this video getting cut short but I still really enjoyed it!

On paper you have very good chances of getting in. The rest is up to whether or not you get a nomination. The nomination is definitely the most nerve wracking part but if you just go in and get honest you have a good shot.

Do you have any insight about what GPA, test scores, extracurricular you had when applying? I really want to attend USNA!

My high school's GPA was out of 100 so I ended with a 97. I played 3 sports and my SAT was a 1540. All of that is nice but it's just important to be well rounded. I would say extracurriculars are the most important and just having good grades is fine. Around a 1300 is what most people have on the SAT which is a good score and being a B student is fine too. Just finish your application show that you really want to get in and you're chances are much higher than you think. Good luck! And feel free to ask more questions. I'm here to help.

EcoTech6 How hard is it for someone who doesn’t play any sports but have good grades to get it?
@ecotech6

@@teeganwebb1196 It's definitely possible but I would say it's a bit harder. The only way the admissions council would know your physical capabilities is through the CFA (Candidates Fitness Assessment) which you have to complete for your application, which is still a good measure. I would definitely apply if you want to attend. Don't let not playing a sport stop you.

Academies no longer needed. ROTC and OCS/OTS produce equally high-quality officers much more cost-effectively.

What we actually need are many more academies for gradeschool age American youngsters, but we need to keep all political correctness and woke cultism out of them as well as removing that crap from our existing academies.
