Hi every one i have just bought my self a Pulsar Digex C50 scope and i have put together a few videos of my experience with it day and night also hunting a fox and rats.
Hey Simon, great video. I appreciate how you leave the foxes alone when they aren't causing problems! Never been a fan of killing for the sake of killing. Cheers.

Same here. I kill coyotes only mainly to protect the deer herd and yes because I enjoy hunting them. The foxes aren't hurting anything, and the bobcats are rare around here. I see no point in killing them.

Great to see Jack again and sporting his jacket. Like your ethics..."cause not a problem I leave you alone but if you cause an issue I become your problem"..Looking forward to your results with the new sight. Keep safe and shot straight. Remember....they are waiting for you...🦊🐰🐭 the three amigos.

Great shooting and some really good samples of what the C50 can do. Having used one with the Pulsar illuminator, I'd say your PBIR is well worth it at range. IMO/IME the daytime colour mode is pretty good for practical purposes, but not exactly a pleasure to use; whereas the image at night is impressive, and the twilight colour mode is simply magic. That comes across really well in your video. Thanks.

@@brimstone260 I've/we've wanted to review the Wraith and Wraith 4K for some time, but I can't afford to buy either and haven't yet been able to borrow either for a proper test. But any decent scope needs a fine reticle, especially one with a decent zoom and/or for use in low light -it needs to be fine enough to not obscure the target; simples. 🤷🏻♂️🎯 ...this could have been fixed with a simple firmware update, so I've no idea why it hasn't. @@brimstone260 Well now that's a decent summary thank-you. 👏 My thoughts on the reticle were also my instant reaction when the Wraith was first launched, based on the nocturnal promo videos alone; I instantly wanted it to be 1 pixel wide and less in-my-face. Shame such a reticle's not an option, but the C50's is perfect... as is the HIKMICRO TQ50C we recently reviewed... it has an FFP option too. 👌 BTW sadly neither current Pards nor the Wülf 4k have FFP reticles. 🙄 Cheers. Showing on the bottom left of the screen with the arrow. Are they different profiles you’re moving to, or just adjusting distance within the same profile on the fly? My experience with this caliber of scope is limited but what I saw was very impressive . The clarity at max magnification was very good day and night ,I think I to like it . And now that 6 mm of yours . All I’m gonna say is wow ! I personally have not shot any bullets below 87grains in any of my 3 . The 243 likes the 87 vmax quite well and the 6 Rem. loves my 90 soft point . And the creedmore im heavy at 108 . I now am very interested in playing a bit with the lighter bullets seeing how I’m kinda into the velocity . Maybe because it’s on the other end of the spectrum of what I’m used to loading . Very nice video and like the 6mm .Also curious about the battery life . Can you get through a night of smashing the little brown buggers or do you have to re charge or change batterys. Thanks buddy you all take care until next time and pet the pup for me !

Hyia Charles ye battery life in that scope is around 6 hours pal it has impressed me so far, also the 6ppc is my favourite cal of all time as i have spent may be 20 years trying to hit the same bullet hole at 200 yards with it, i repeat trying to lol. As for light bullets i use the 55,s in that purely because i hunt with it and they shoot flatter and explode better for safety and obviously cleaner kills, i have used all the heavies over the years and although the bullets shoot awesome and have better BCs for range i found i got more ricochet's and pass throughs on the foxes hence why i went the lighter ones, oh also they shoot awesome to in my 6ppc. Stay safe my friend and happy shooting 👍

Hi Simon, great video as normal. As you have the NV008 LFR as well, which would you recommend for a centre fire for foxes etc? I currently use the NV008 LFR on a HW100 for rats etc, but was thinking of one for the .223 sako for night. Thanks.

For ratting Martin i do still like the 008 LRF but for a centrefire deff the C50 pal.

Hi Simon , I’ve just had a look at your C50 report. Apparently I’ll be getting one from TJ after the shooting show to try out and review. I’ll be concentrating on the early morning squirrels and evening rats, and hopefully demo the 950 Nm IR illumination that comes with it. Being invisible may just provoke me to fit it on my .243 for Mr and Mrs Fox, but we will see🤔 Keep at em matey👍 David

I love your channel not only because you’re a heck of a good shot, but that you don’t shoot animals that don’t cause problems. Foxes eat a fair amount of mice, rats and some bunnies, so so long as they don’t cause problems, why shoot them? Here in Canada there is a big coyote (and coy-wolf) problem developing, but since they are territorial, they recommend not shooting ones that don’t raid. They’ll actually help keep problems ones away.

Another great video Simon, I am thinking of going for the infiray td50l only due to it going on a rimmy and not needing to spend 300 quid extra on it. How long is the battery life on the c50, do you ever use the twilight mode

Great video Simon the scope does look a great bit of kit. I'm after one but was told not available until March. Where did you purchase yours from? And a nice bit of conservation with the foxes. Better to watch and admire rather than shooting them just because you can. Well done Sir

Thanks Frank, this question comes up a lot my friend and to be honest i have used NV for the last 5 years and i have never really come across this BUT i shoot moorland and most shots get on towards the 200 yards mark so nothing i can say has ever seem to spook but i do believe if you had one say 50 yards off may be then they could see the glow.
