The place and park location for Long Pond that I give in the video is inaccurate. I apparently clicked on the wrong Long pond when I was doing research. 🤦 In my defense, I was up all night with no sleep trying to get info together for this video. Oh well, YT won't let me edit it... sorry y'all. :(

I love your Mom’s comment, it’s beautiful. For some reason I felt emotional too. I’m not sure why, I think it’s because it seems like you were given a personal tour by the creator Himself. So well done Braids, thanks.

I hit the Roan Highlands on Memorial Day 2016, so there were a LOT of dayhikers out, but when I got to Jane Bald they all seemed to disappear. It was the most beautiful clear day so I took an hour plus lunch break. So unforgettable!

I binged on about 10 of your videos last year but now I'm actually BINGING on the 100+ AT videos! :P I love your videos because I'm also in my 40's and will be starting the trail at 49, turning 50 on the trail! I follow you especially because your hiking pace matches mine and I also act about 15 years younger. Some of your famous lines made me laugh about how you said spiders are stupid. And you yelling at the bear at your first sighting like he was a petulant toddler. LMAO. It ALWAYS gets me laughing when I think of it.

Thank you for the memories in 2013 I ended up flip flopping at the historic Iron bridge (Swatara Gap) because of poison plants. When I summited Katahdin I had more than 1000 miles to get back to the bridge.

New Hampshire/The White Mountain National forest seems to be extremely underrated and AT thru hikers repeatedly say that those ridgleines and the presidential range is their favorite as well. If anyone is ever in NH for whatever reason haha get yourself on the presidential range ridgelines, its a magical place. Mt Washington has the highest recorded wind speed in the world by a human. 234 mph, it can go from hot and sunny in the summer to 100 + mph winds and a blizzard, most people who have died up there from hypothermia have died in the summer months.
