Shadow and Bone I'd want to read. Now just to find a copy. Yay for Mistborn.

I love Tamora Pierce! I read the Song of the Lioness quartet last year, but I never got around to reading all the other Tortall books. I'll have to move them up on my to-read list, since it sounds like the Protector of the Small books are great :)

kallegorical Yay! I love meeting other Tamora Pierce fans! :) You should definitely read the rest of them soon! I have (shamefully) not read the Trickster duology yet, but I've read all of the other Tortall books so far. For Emelan, I still haven't read Melting Stones or Battle Magic, but I've read the previous books. :)

Brandon Sanderson is my absolute favorite Fantasy-Author EVER. If he would write about butter, I would read it and LOVE it. Mistborn is one of his best series. And one of the best series' I have ever read. I could go fangirling years and years about his books, his characters and his magic systems. (Especially about the Stormlight Archives, Elantris and The Rithmatist) Tamora Pierce I read ten years or more ago. And I only read the Circle of Magic Books, but I can remember, that I adored the four books. Loved the teacher in there (I forgot the name) and Briar, and all the different kinds of magic.

+Copper Books I love his books that I've read so far and I'm super excited to get to the rest! He is so amazing! He is pretty much an auto-buy author for me now even though I've only read 2 of his books so far. And Tamora Pierce... I could gush about her until the end of time! If you want to check out some more of her books, I would highly recommend the Song of the Lioness quartet! It is the first series she wrote that takes place in Tortall. The first book is called Alanna: The First Adventure. :)

I would love to re-read the Tamora Pierce books and try the Allana Series, but it is not easy to get the books in Germany any more. A lot of them are out of print. But I will have a look. :D Brandon Sanderson is definitley a auto-buy-author for me. I nearly read everything he published ever. At the moment I am reading through some of his shortstories and novellas. A lot of them will never be published in German I fear. I wait for Firefight and maybe next year the translation of Shadows of Self.

I wanna try Sanderson, but I have 2 series I need to get to before then. I do recommend you go outside the fiction books box and read an excellent guidebook (preferably profusely illustrated) on walking the Appalachian Trail. I hope said book does especial justice to the section of said trail that goes thru the Great Smoky Mountains. If you go on said trail, please don't forget your vidcam. You are the *Adventuring* Bookworm after all. (Walking anywhere near Everest though is not recommended at this time. Too shaky.) And as your ailing knee is x percent recovered, I suggest you do a dance segment, maybe to be used as your outro. You could use a light book as a prop if you cared to. You are multidimensional and multi-talented and the rest of us should know it. (-:

TimeAndChance I really want to read all of his books ASAP! I loved Mistborn, and I really need to finish that series and get on to the others. I've read and flipped through some guide books on the AT before! :) I'd love to do a section of it again sometime in the next year or so. I've hiked a 2-3 day section in the Great Smoky Mountains before. It was wonderful! Haha my knee isn't totally better yet but that could be funny! ;)

O come on! You're ready to do Odile, Aurora, the Sacrificial Virgin, Giselle, all the big roles, at NYCB, ABT, PNB, MCB, SFB, POB, the RB, the Kirov, and the Bolshoi at the drop of a hat. Knee prob or no knee prob. Fantasy is not confined to lit. authors and their readers.... Smile. All those Great Smoky Mtn. scenery will be there when you want to see 'em or see 'em again. Lots of picturesque fun. Yes, dance with a book if you choose. Just don't use eg. the Compact OED. :-D
