It is important for dancers to warm up before dancing in order to prepare the body for longer and full range of movements.
Warm up exercises help to decrease tension in the muscles and joints. Through this preparation you can ensure you are able to move without stress and strain. These exercises help to increase the body temperature gradually to an optimal working level and to avoid injuries.
