Tomislav, I started my turning journey with cheap Harbor Freight set of tools. Then I bought a nice set of Crown Tools. I have been using the Crown Tools for about 20 years and I love them. I have other tools, but Crown is the best. Anyone who watches your videos and needs a tool will buy them, because you are a quality turner selling a quality tool.

Hello Tomislav, First of all, for me you are no longer a little guy from Croatia. Rather, you are to me what Richard is to you. Many KZitemrs just show what they can do. You show us step by step how to do it. That's a big difference. I started woodturning exactly one year ago. I learnt exclusively from KZitemrs. I certainly learnt 90 per cent from you. Of course I'm going to buy one of your scrapers. Not only because I owe it to you, but also because the steel quality is better than the one I made myself. But I would prefer it as it comes out of the box. After all, I made my first scraper myself exactly according to your instructions. I would like to do the finish myself. Unfortunately, the tailstock on my DML 320 has just broken, so I can only turn very small parts at the moment. I sincerely wish you every success with your own tool line and thank you again for the invaluable knowledge that you are making available to us here. Greetings Andreas By the way, I'll be back in Croatia at the end of June and am already looking forward to the beer that bears your name 🍻.

Hi Tomislav, As mentioned, there are not many turners on You Tube that show the proper use and steps of using various tools and the turning process. You are now the first choice/click for me when I log in to You Tube for turning videos. I've been interested in getting a shear scraper like that for some time now. If chosen, the scraper prepared by you would be a welcome addition to my collection of tools. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!

Tomislav, Congratulations and good luck with your signature line. I'm sure that it will bring you both satisfaction and success. I was a teacher for 36 years, and I like to think that I recognize good teaching when I see it. I, too, have watched many, many KZitem turning videos, and you, Sir, are one of the best out there. I especially appreciate the completeness of your demonstrations. Because you cover each demo in such depth, the viewer has few questions at the end. That gives us confidence to try whatever it is that you are showing. I would be very interested in purchasing one of your "out of the box" raw scrapers like the one in the video. To me, a tool that you make yourself is something special.even if it is a copy of something someone else has done. Please keep me informed on the progress of this scraper. As a side comment, I greatly enjoy your 4-Ways projects with Sam, Richard, and Mike. The range of creativity and skills shown in each one is truly worth my time. You make me a better turner! Hi Tomislav, at first, have many thanks for your excellent videos. Richard Raffan and you lifted my level of turning abilities much higher and I think I managed the step from a sander to a turner. Your step-by-step instructions help so much. As a left-hander not every turning tool works for me from the start, so I try before buy. To make a long story short, this morning I copied the geometry of your tool (what I already had in mind for a longer time) to a cheap CrV 20x6 mm plumbers scraper steel and did some testing. Left hand operation is not comfortable for all operations as often, but right hand operation works very well even for a die-hard left-hander and the results are gorgeous right from the start even with the tested cheap tool steel with its limited strength of burr. A tool made from quality HSS must be a real pleasure to use. So I'm quite interested in the tool shown if the price is in an acceptable range. It may refinance itself by the sandpaper not bought😊 I think Crown is a top partner to create a high quality tool. So I wish you good luck for your signature tool waiting for the official offer.

I compared them to Two Cherries from Germany and Crown is far better! Tomislav you go really in depth at showing details, how to properly master the craft. I always enjoy watching your educational videos! Thank you for your unselfish sharing of your knowledge that you obtained through the years! You chose quite a hard path- business wise. I always have a feeling that people don't understand the effort that goes in to the final product- at least here in Slovenia. I have a small workshop, where I can relieve my stress in free time. I made myself a scraper from old file, but it does not perform OK. So I ended using it and so I sometimes have to sand my finished parts quite hard to get rid of tearout or make a smooth transition at the bottom of a bowl/dish. I would really benefit from having a proper scraper. So I want to enter to a giveaway. I prefer your touch on a scraper, so I can feel an enjoy the sharp edge from a real master. Tomislav, pozdrav iz Slovenije! Vidim, da stvarno uživaš u ovom poslu. Jedva čekam tvoj sljedeći video ;)

Another fantastic, in-depth video, Tomislav - thank you! I'm new to using scrapers and struggling a bit (made a couple from old files), but your instruction will help steer me to better results. How exciting to have your own signature tools! If I'm lucky enough to win one, I'm sure it'll take pride of place in my tool rack :) Even better would be the finessed scraper and burnisher, that would be just perfect. I know your scrapers will sell well and you really deserve the success. Thanks for all your help.

Thorough as usual! I'm an experienced turner and usually learn something new from your videos. This time it was honing the scraper for a third burr option. My habit is to go from grinder burr to burnished burr to another burnished burr, then back to the grinder. I'm going to try your method now. For what it's worth, my favorite burnisher is small--1/8" diameter and just 1.5" sticking out of its palm-sized handle. When scraping I keep it in my pocket. I'll send a picture of it via email. Thanks for your efforts. I would be happy to have one of your tools in my kit!

Hello Tomislav, by looking at all the comments, it seems i'm not the only new woodturner that looks up to your incredible teaching coaching videos. If i am to win the scraper, i would really like if you could refine it. This way i can see, feel and use it the way it is meant to be. And please keep those videos coming 😁. Yves

Congratulations Tomislav on your new signature tools, brilliant! It would be nice to get a prepared tool. And I would be interested in purchasing a tool once they are available. I too, like many others, have learned so much from your videos, thank you.

This was a very informative scraper video! I'd be very excited to win and/or buy one of your scrapers with whatever type of handle it has or doesn't have! When the time comes to order one, I would definitely pick the option that includes the burnisher--especially if it is shorter. Congratulations on the exciting new chapter of life!

Hi Tomislav I really enjoy your videos a lot. I have turned a lot of bowls and thanks to you my sanding process is less and less. I would love to have one of your signature scrapers in the hopes that someday I could become half as good as you.
